The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Sequel “Temperature…” Walter muttered, preparing to drift off into his thoughts. Mrs. Mitty rolled her eyes. “Hurry up, Walter! I want to go home,” she whined, walking toward the car. Walter followed her, pulling out the car keys. Mrs. Mitty heard the jingle of the keys and looked back. “Oh no, you don’t! I’m driving this time.” She promptly snatched the keys from Walter’s grasp. “I rather not let you drive, if you’re going over forty.” Walter shrugged, opening the door and sliding into the passenger seat. Walter could literally hold one in his palm, and it would be the length of his thumb. Pupfish swam with unbelievable speed, though. It was almost impossible to catch, but Walter could do it. Why else would the best scientists pick him for the job? He was now 3 feet away from his catch, his net open and ready. “Professor Mitty…” That was Walter’s assistant in the communicator again. Although, Walter was no longer listening. He was focused on catching that fish. “Mitty!” Walter was now right in front of the pupfish. He suddenly felt sharp pain on his side. “Walter Reynold Mtty!” Walter didn’t remember studying that the pupfish could bite, and when did his assistant call him by his middle name? . . . “Walter!” Mrs. Mitty cried out. Walter blinked and looked around. They were now parked in front of their house, with an angry looking Mrs. Mitty to his
