The Romance Moviegoer

According to George Lucas, the supreme liar, there is only one type of moviegoer. As usual, George Lucas is incorrect. There are actually three types of moviegoers. They are the romance type, the comedy type, and the sci-fi type. The romance moviegoer has a polished appearance. For example, her mouth is wound in a small smile that uncovers a sliver of pearly white teeth. The perfectly straight teeth are partially obstructed by lips that are coated in an even, thin layer of pink lipstick. Furthermore, her shoes are a fashionable pair of brightly colored high heels. As she walks, the shoes click loudly against the tile floor like horse hooves on cement. Also, her bright eyes are artfully rimmed with slim lines of makeup, making the blue irises

For example, if she is at a restaurant, she is always with a date. She tries to mimic the cliché scenes in romantic films; like sharing food or holding hands at a candlelit table. Also, at school, the romance moviegoer is considered the popular girl. She surrounds herself with friends and always starts drama because she plays matchmaker and tries to get her friends into romantic relationships whether they want it or not. She has a boyfriend of her own and forces public displays of affection every time they are together, in hopes of getting others to notice how perfect her love life is. Finally, when the romance moviegoer is at the movie theater, she is again, on a date. She insists that they share all of the refreshments but does not offer to pay for anything. Once they get into the theater, she is very picky about finding a seat and takes forever to finally choose the perfect one. For example, his mouth is twisted in a permanent grin. The bigger the smile gets, the more noticeable the dimples on either side of his lips appear. When he laughs, his whole mouth opens, exposing his slightly crooked teeth and pink tongue. Another exciting feature of the comedy lover is his shoes. They are bright high-tops with vivacious patterns dancing along the sides. His shoelaces are different colors that lay united atop the tongue of the shoe. Furthermore, his eyes are mirthful and full of life. They have a kind twinkle to them that gives his whole face a welcoming glow. Also, his hair is a messy mop of curls. The small locks stick up in different directions as if he’s run his hand through them multiple times. Finally, the comedy type’s shirt is entertaining. Although its color is old and faded, it still catches the eye. The t-shirt has rubbed off lettering displayed across the chest that says some kind of joke or comical phrase.
