Following Me! Dark and foggy. This feels endless. I've been driving on this road for hours. I arrive at a fork in the road. I can't go right because there is a fallen tree on the road. I'll have to go left but there are signs saying, “turn back”, and “wrong way.” I must go left. While I'm driving, I pass a house with a dirt drive way and I say to myself, “who would live out here?” Then when I pass some trees, the house comes back into view again. It gave me shivers down my spine once I saw it. It was like the house from “Cabin in the woods” but ten times scarier. I didn't want anyone to know I was here so I sped up and kept driving. Then when I look back at the house through the rear-view mirror. A man was standing on the veranda. “The man …show more content…
I almost had a heart attack. I just skipped a heartbeat. I turn back and walk a little faster. I can hear the twigs snapping getting closer so I just get faster and faster. Then I blink for one second and I run into a tree. I dropped my glasses upon Impact. I had no time to look for them so I just stood back up and bolted for my life. My feet are still hurting but my feet aren't the priority now. All I had on my mind was that I had to run to live or give up and die. The sound of twigs breaking are getting louder so I sped up even more. Feeling the wet, soggy bark as I stumble through the Forrest. I don't think this guy is going to stop chasing me. Eventually my feet give up and I'm leaving blood foot prints everywhere. Miraculously I can see blurred image of red and blue lights.” The police!” I yelled. I could hear the man grunting behind me now. I started to climb a hill that leads up onto the high way. I make it to the cop car and the police officer grabs me and puts me in the back of his vehicle. The officer does a quick check of the surroundings and says it is all clear. He gets back into the car and introduces himself. The officer drives me home. After a long drive, he pulls up in my driveway, where my car
I'm currently walking along a long and barren road approaching a small forest. Of course, no one would recognize where I am. Of course not I'm obviously somewhere where even I wouldn't recognize, thrown into a place against my own will. I guess I can blame my own hubris for this one. “HEY I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUCKING FUN, don't be a condescending asshole.”
surprise, I noticed an old, rotten car parked on the shoulder of the road and a
In the shadowy twilit street a nebulous figure followed in pursuit. Only the thought of the narrowing distance to the rendezvous inspired in him, one last effort of flight. His exhausted body begged him to stop, but the specter of death drove him on, the finishing line came into view, symbolizing the outermost limitations of his
...the wood for movement, looking for the slightest movement that will indicate the presence of some animal, maybe a deer walking through the woods feeding, or maybe a squirrel on its never-ending hunt for food. At 8:45 I get up and walk to my brother; the cold weather has found its way into my body through my many layers of clothes. I walk ever so silently hoping to find a deer over the hill, or in some alders eating. I see nothing but when I get to my brother he tells me I pushed five deer right past him.
I start to run through the forest with a huge smile on my face, until I realize that now I have to make a bunch of new friends. Oh god, well it can't be that hard. I start to run now with my heart beating about making a new friend.. Until I trip on this little twig in front of me. I pick it up and snap it in half and chuck it towards the treehouse that is now in the distance.
‘Damn short ride.’ I thought. Sitting up, I groaned and tried to focus on the sign at the front of the building we stopped at so suddenly. The door of the cab abruptly flew opened and a police officer of the burly persuasion grabbed me by the lapels and hastily removed me.
I stood up. Everything seem so peaceful. But not for long. i heard rocks start tumbling and

I turn my back to the destroyed city and begin walking in the direction that the leaf had come from. My footsteps are slow and heavy, as if the fog was restricting me, slowing me down. Somewhere in my subconscious
At that moment I had no doubt that I will be pulled over. In fact, I slowed down as soon as I saw him, and I started to change lanes to the right side of the street, getting ready to pull over. For a second I thought I escaped, for he did not followed me immediately, but my nightmare had just started. The noisy motorcycle was right behind me. My heart started to beat faster, and I could feel the blood getting pumped into my head.
I almost stepped on it, which was the hair-raising part! My eyes grew wide and my mouth dropped in shock. I held onto Louis as tight as I could. I bolted to the house while screaming my head off! I sat Louise down on the sidewalk and ran in the house as fast as I could.
up a rocky path. Immediately I feel like I am in nature. I am reminded of all
Your breath quickens. You search desperately for an exit, a way to flee, a primal need to escape this place and return to a warm, safe home with people to comfort you. But even as the panic sets in, it begins to subside. And something even stronger than your fear compels you to move forward. You shiver, and even though you find yourself surrounded by a warm summer night you are cold to the touch. Your hands are white and clammy, your breath freezes in the air again, and yet still you wonder what has happened. A tug at your chest pulls you onward into the street, and like a dog on a leash you follow it. There are no objections on your lips, no thoughts of refusal in your mind. The pull forward is too strong and as the music grows louder you feel as if something wants you here. It wants you to see something that you’ve missed. This thing, this compulsion is beyond anything you've ever known. You wonder what would happen if you said no. If you followed you’re envisioning of safety and turned to never look
As the bushes and brush grew more solid I began to ponder. Will I make it through this forest tonight or will I be taken in by the thick of the mystery? Sounds from sluggish foot steps caused a vibration around me that lead me to stop in my place and listen closely. Could this forest be haunted or was I just over exaggerating? I started to get very nervous by this time. “It will be just fine,” I told myself. I am just imagining things. I continued my journey through the forest but negative thoughts were running through my l...
He then began to proceed towards me and my heart began to pound at the speed of light. Panic began to take over me and I started running, the adrenaline was coursing through my veins, I ran into the forest, through the trees, flying over the logs. I tripped over a root that was sticking out and landed face
