The Frank Coraci and Tim Herlihy film The Ridiculous Six, is a comedy that stars a group of big name actors such as Adam Sandler, Terry Crews, Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Jorge Garcia, and Luke Wilson along with an extensive list of A and B list actors. Even after undergoing a cluster of bad reviews and drama, The Ridiculous Six has broken records on Netflix by being watched more times in 30 days than any other in the streaming service’s history. Adding on to the controversy, there were a group of Native American actors that quit during the filming of the movie with the complaints of offensive names and stereotypes that were too disrespectful for them to handle. These events are what made The Ridiculous Six another one of Sandler’s record breaking films in both directions of good and bad. A few articles in reviews and other forms of publicly accessible sites exaggerated the event by saying a few dozen quit during filming but The New York Daily News cleared up some issues by reporting that only four Native Americans left while around 150 others stayed. Of the 150 others that stayed, there were many included that were grandmas, grandpas, and children that kept working. Nevertheless, the film The Ridiculous Six is another Adam Sandler style comedy that has viewers laughing all throughout. Along with the unbelievable amount of big name actors, the plot of the movie fits well with the amount of unexpected reveals and twists portrayed. Although there were some negative reviews and controversies, the movie is still loved by many that can see past the stereotypes and laugh throughout the movie like the writers and producers
