Difficult times often bring out the best in people. Having to cope with a difficult endeavour, brings forward a new perspective on how an undertaking needs to be attained. The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King, by Peter Jackson. A movie that shows how characters array their best sides when coping with significantly difficult tasks. A leader like Frodo changes his focus,to his number one priority so that it can bring out the best in others, like Sam. Sam needs to protect Frodo and guide him through the last part of their treacherous journey, to get themselves to Mordor and for Frodo to throw the ring into the burning lava of Mount Doom. Now facing the most difficult portion of this expedition, Frodo and his loyal counterpart Sam have finally arrived to Mordor, the resting place of the evil Sauron. As Frodo and Sam get stuck in an overabundance of orcs, they improvise and find some orc armor to disguise themselves in high hopes they would not get noticed by the orcs on their way to war. They get scrunched into the group, but now that they are fitting in with the rest of them they need to find a way out without getting noticed. The two start fighting and wiggle their way out of the group and head on their way to Mount Doom. Almost to the top of the mountain Frodo begins to get weaker and weaker but he knows he needs to get rid of the ring or else it will get into the wrong hands and all bad will break loose. Frodo shows coping with difficult times by the strength of the ring, the ring motivates him to complete his duty. Then Gollum comes along thinking he will get ahold of the ring and become powerful once again. Frodo gets tempted by the ring, and slips it on his finger becoming invisible, hoping that he can escape Gollum and his attraction to the ring.In such a difficult time Frodo manages to overcome the strength of the ring and push Gollum and the ring into the lava of Mount …show more content…

Sam has the motivation and strength to overcome their fatiguing adventure. He is determined, fierce, and mortal. Although his size may be deceiving, he has a whole bunch of fight in him. His on the spot thinking, wittiness, and stealth gets him and Frodo out of tight spots in their endeavour. Whenever something bad happens to Frodo or the two of them are in a kerfuffle, we see the best in Sam shine through. Sam copes with most everything that comes in his way, and he knows he needs to handle the situation to make things back to
