After being banned from Verona, Romeo is know wondering the streets of Mantua, rethinking a dream he had that Juliet is dead. Balthasar meets up with Romeo and tells him of Juliet's apparent suicide. Romeo instantly orders Balthasar to prepare a horse so he can rush to Verona to see Juliet’s body. While he’s waiting for the horse he writes a letter to Lord Montague explaining the situation. Finally before he leaves Mantua, Romeo buys a death potion. Scene 2: In Verona, Friar John, who was the one that was supposed to deliver the letter to Romeo telling him about the plan tells Friar Laurence he is sorry for not being able to complete the task. Friar Laurence immediately thinks that the plan is messed up because Romeo doesn’t know that Juliet
