After being banned from Verona, Romeo is know wondering the streets of Mantua, rethinking a dream he had that Juliet is dead. Balthasar meets up with Romeo and tells him of Juliet's apparent suicide. Romeo instantly orders Balthasar to prepare a horse so he can rush to Verona to see Juliet’s body. While he’s waiting for the horse he writes a letter to Lord Montague explaining the situation. Finally before he leaves Mantua, Romeo buys a death potion. Scene 2: In Verona, Friar John, who was the one that was supposed to deliver the letter to Romeo telling him about the plan tells Friar Laurence he is sorry for not being able to complete the task. Romeo tries to break up the scuffle, but this ends up getting Mercutio killed under his arm. Because of Mercutio’s death, Romeo picks up his sword and kills Tybalt. Romeo is banished from Verona to a nearby city called Mantua. While in Mantua, he hears word that Juliet has died, but unknowing to Romeo, she has just taken a sleeping potion that will disable all of her bodily functions. Romeo decides that he wants to say one final goodbye to Juliet before he kills himself with the poison he bought from an apothecary. With all the conflict arising between Juliet’s family, Friar Lawrence creates a plan that unfortunately does not succeed. His plan for Juliet is to tell her father she will marry Paris, then go to bed with no one, not even the nurse. After, she will drink a potion to make her seem dead for forty two hours and then have a messenger tell Romeo about it. He will have her put in a vault to wait for Friar to bring her out so she and Romeo can elope. The plan was perfect until tragedy occurs, Benvolio sees Juliet dead and immediately tells Romeo about it.

Romeo and Juliet were soon married and later that afternoon Juliet's cousin Tybalt kills Mercutio during a small fight in the street. Romeo sees this injustice and upon impulse kills Tybalt in revenge. Under the advice of his friends he flees the scene of the murder. Soon the prince finds out and he banishes Romeo from Verona. That same day Juliet finds out that her lover Romeo has been banished for killing her beloved cousin and she threatens to kill herself. She goes to friar Lawrence's cell and he gives her a strong sleeping potion. When Romeo killed Tybalt he got sent away to Mantua although, if he would’ve just left it alone Tybalt would’ve died anyway because the said “whoever kills again between the family’s will be killed (Shakespeare) so, if Romeo would’ve left it alone he wouldn’t have gotten sent to Mantua Also when he killed Tybalt he said “I’ am fortunes fool” (Shakespeare). When Romeo killed Tybalt and got sent to Mantua Juliet went to the priest to try to change her marriage but couldn’t so the priest gave her a potion to put her to sleep to fake her death but, at her funeral Romeo’s servant Balthasar thought she was dead so he went to Romeo in Mantua and told him on his way to see Juliet he Romeo Stopped and bought a medicine but, if Romeo would’ve got the note the priest wrote he would’ve knew Juliet wasn’t dead. Therefore the note didn’t make it in time so when Romeo found Juliet dead he took to much off the medicine and it killed him so, when Juliet awoke she found Romeo dead and heard people coming so she took her life too but, she could’ve just avoided it by not taking the sleeping potion the priest gave her or by just refusing to marry Paris or also, by telling her parents she was married to
When the friar hears of this, he devises a plan so that the two lovers can be together. The major climax of the play comes when the friar gives Juliet a potion that will make it seem as though she has died, when in fact she is alive the whole time. While in Mantua, Romeo mistakenly hears that Juliet has actually died and he goes to lay by her side. Just as he takes a vile poison and dies, Juliet awakens to find her love lying dead at her side. She cannot fathom living in a world without Romeo, so she takes his sword and ends her own life.
Romeo ended up killing Tybalt and then had to go to the court and was banished from Verona to Mantua. Lord Capulet tried to make Juliet marry Paris and juliet was not having it so she went to Friar Lawrence and he told her that she would be out for 42 hours. The parents had Romeo banished so Romeo had no clue that she was going to take the potion and that she would be out for 42 hours because he didn't get any kind of letter. The nurse went and found Juliet’s body in a dead like form and told the Capulet family. The family had her put into the family tomb and they thought she was dead Friar Lawrence was planned to go and get Juliet from the tomb and Romeo was supposed to meet with him and get Juliet
