In the short story “The Ravine” by author Graham Salisbury the main characters are Vinny, Joe-Boy, and Starlene. Vinny is very fearful of the Ravine because of the boy named Butchie that died there, he also is easily persuaded to join his friends to the Ravine. He is best friends with Joe-Boy and friends with Starlene.Joe-Boy is Critical of Vinny and makes fun of him often in the story, for being to chicken to jump. He is best friends with Vinny and Starlene is his haloe girlfriend.The Last person is Starlene she is friends with Vinny and Joe-Boy is her boyfriend.
