A dress-up party in Texas turned deadly when the host of the party, dressed as Santa Claus, began shooting at his guests. By the end of his shooting spree, he had killed one person and injured three others. Randall Jones has been arrested and charged with murder after he decided to begin firing bullets at partygoers who were having a good time during the early morning hours. Jones, who lived in the house with several other roommates, stated that he did not intend for the incident to take place. Witnesses who were at the party shared that Jones was very drunk before he grabbed a gun from his room and opened fire. According to people who were at the party, several guests had attempted to get Jones to stop drinking and go to sleep, something
he clearly was not pleased about. Instead of going up to his room and getting into bed, he went and retrieved a gun. When he returned, he fired one shot at the floor which caused party members to run for cover. He then shot a guy who attempted to tackle him to the ground. That man later passed away from his injuries at a nearby hospital. After shooting three more individuals, Jones made his way to a neighbor’s house where he informed them that a fatal incident had just occurred. The neighbor notified the authorities, and when police arrived at the scene, Jones surrendered himself peacefully. Randall Jones has since stated that he was tired and unaware of what he was doing when he grabbed the gun. He shares that he is deeply sorry for the harm that he caused to his guests and their families. Two of the other individuals hurt in the shooting are expected to make full recoveries, while a third person is still in critical condition.
The Elaine Race Riot can be even said as the Elaine massacre that had taken place on September 30, 1919, in Elaine in Phillips County, Arkansas, in the Arkansas Delta. The fight started when around 100 African Americans, commonly black farmers on the farms of white landlords joined a consultation of the Progressive Farmers and the Household Union of America at a church in Hoop Spur, the Phillips County that was three miles north of Elaine. The assembly was managed by Robert Hill; he was the organizer of the Progressive Farmers and the Household Union of America. The main goal of the meeting was that one of the numerous black sharecroppers in the Elaine area during the former months was achieving better payments for their cotton crops from
Karr 's famous epigram plus ça change, plus c 'est la même chose stuck with me throughout reading Stephen Ash 's A Massacre in Memphis: The Race Riot That Shook the Nation One Year After the Civil War. In 1866, during the uneasy aftermath of the Civil War, Memphis was swept by an orgy of racial violence. How did it start? Armed white policemen sparked a confrontation with a group of young black men – many of whom were Union veterans. Sound familiar? By the time the situation was brought under control, the grim tally was: 46 African-Americans and three whites killed, 75 blacks injured, five black women raped, 100 blacks robbed, 96 homes destroyed, as well as four black churches and twelve black schools burned to the ground. Of the African-American
...paper article “Powell Admits Firing First Shot at Policeman” resembles the film very much. Powell did admit to shooting Campbell first and he did put the blame on Smith for firing the other four shots. Just like in the film, the article states how Smith kept denying the fact that he fired the four shots. The police did put the two criminals face to face to see if they still stuck with the same story they gave to the police individually. Powell still said that he only shot Campbell once and that Smith used Campbell’s gun to shoot him four more times in the chest. Also, Powell did say that he took out another gun to fire at Hettinger, that Smith started to fire at him as well and that Smith did shout that Powell was a liar. Hettinger did give his testimony and the two men did tell the officers that they would be killed if they tried to catch other people’s attention.
The book Murder in the Bayou: Who Killed the Women Known as the Jeff Davis 8?, written by independent journalist and private investigator Ethan Brown, tells the horrific true story of the bayou town of Jennings, Louisiana located in the heart of the Jefferson Davis parish. During the four year duration between 2005 and 2009, the town of Jennings was on edge after the discovery of the bodies of eight murdered women were found in the filthy canals and swamps. The victims became known as the “Jeff Davis 8.” For years, local law enforcement suspected a serial killer, and solely investigated the murders based on that theory alone. The victims were murdered in varying manors, but when alive they all shared many commonalities and were connected to

When the first responder got to the scene he adimatately meet the 911 caller, who lead him to a car in an apartment parking lot. The car doors were closed and all of the windows were fogged. A man carrying two revolvers and two 9mm semi-automatic handguns calmly strode into the Dunblane Primary School. Two people quickly spotted the firearms and tried to tackle the man; he shot them and left them wounded as he continued his journey down the hall of the school. Finally, the man reached his destination: the gym, where a class a kindergartners were having P.E. In the gym, he pulled out the guns and started picking off the five-year-olds one by one. The room was splattered with blood as young children broke like porcelain dolls under the power of the gun. The blood continued to flow, but the intruder did not stop; he took careful aim to make sure he didn't miss. The final insult came when he shot the teacher who was shielding kids with her body. Once he killed her, he killed the kids she was protecting. When he finished in the gym , he turned around walked out, shot at a class as he walked down the hall and walked out into the courtyard. In the courtyard, the killer ended the ordeal by taking his own life (Pederson).

Ronald Gene Simmons, Sr. was a retired United States Air Force master sergeant who murdered 16 people in a psychotic riot over a week long phase in 1987. The riot included 14 of Simmons family themselves. The murders commenced December 22 in Dover and prolonged until December 28, 1987. Anthony Smith did have a prior history of criminal activity. Were there some questionable things that took place on that day that involved Officer J. Stockley I tend to think so? In some cases, we all write the script, (report) to fit the event. How can I say as a person the level of fear that Officer J. Stockley felt at the time of the event? The case transcripts state that J. Stockley was not the first person to see the gun or call gun it was his partner. I somewhat find it questionable that he did not testify at the trial. It appears that there was reason for Stockley’s prints to be on the gun, he located the gun and touched it when he rendered it safe. Prior to reading the case, it was my opinion that Former Police Officer Jason Stockley

The Sharpeville Massacre The first white settler's arrived at the Cape of Good Hope in 1652. In 1707, the Dutch company stopped all immigration; for over 100 years, no new immigrants arrived. This ended abruptly in 1806 when the British captured the cape: In 1814, Britain bought the cape from the Dutch and it became part of the growing British Empire. The Boers were furious when Britain banned slavery in its empire in 1833. From the very outset the white Boers set up the country so that legally they controlled the whole law making process, Government and 93% of the land.
