Bullying happens all around the world. The Anti-bullying movement started because kids all around the world were getting bullied and not a lot was getting done to stop it. This movement is meant for kids to feel like they can be themselves at school and not get judged for the way they act because it is part of who they are. This movement is needed to make a difference in the world and that difference is for the bullying to stop. The movement will discuss the people who started the movement and who is affected, the purpose of the Anti-bullying movement and what it hopes to achieve or change, and how the movement got going and what it accomplished.

A German Heinz Leymann started the workplace bullying term and made it so that people know how terrible it is to bully people. He introduced people to bullying not being an acceptable thing to do. The movement started because of him introducing bullying not being acceptable which led to other people wanting to stop bullying therefore the Anti-bullying movement started. The purpose of this movement is for kids to stop bullying other kids and for kids to feel safe at school and enjoy school. The publicjustice.net website states that “Public Justice’s Anti-Bullying Campaign is designed to hold schools accountable when they fail to protect children and force them to take appropriate steps to respond to bullying.” This movement started because some schools failed to protect kids from bullying so this campaign can make all kids understand how much damage bullying can do to another kid.
