What are terrorist attacks? Terrorist attacks are unexpecting attacks using violence against innocent people. Terrorists Cause harm to others in a cruel manner or kill people in cold blood giving them no mercy or feeling no pity for people who sit hopelessly begging for their lives.Terrorists also destroy many infrastructures or civilian population to prove they are high in political and social strength. He felt as if the U.S. was against Muslims and that the U.S. was the cause of war. The citizens of Boston were victims of the most horrific terrorist attacks. Many people lost a limb or multiple limbs and some innocent people even children died from major injuries causing them to hemorrhage to death. So many innocent people lost limbs, lives, and loved ones. Boston was attacked unexpectedly and destroyed the city. Terrorist destroy families and the cities in which they live.
Terrorist drop suicide bombs on communitites with innocent people there, terrorist shoot people, behead people, or torture people to their deaths. There was also a shoot out in Boston between cops and Dzhokhars’ brother killing him and one of the cops bled to death during the shooting as well. Dzhokhar survived but, he was later caught and sentenced to death by the court. Terrorist are cold hearted killers and they feel that killing people is not evil but, killing is evil in the Bible the Ten Commandments the lord says, “ Thou Shalt not kill” ( Commandment number 6). Terrorists commit many sins when they kill or harm innocent people.
Terrorists are evil people and Dzhokhar and his brother are evil terrorists too. Dzhokhar is also one of the first terrorist sentenced to death since 9/11. Dzhokhar is the perfect definition of a terrorist because he harmed and killed people over religious aims. He attacked Boston unexpectedly during the marathon and left devestation upon the city. When we think of terrorist, we might think of radical Islamic individuals or groups who would take pride in killing anyone who is not Muslim. Even more, there are antagonistically people who want nothing more but to destroy the lives of innocence people because of their belief system. Take an individual like Theodore Kaczynski for instance; he was a former University of California at Berkeley math professor. Otherwise known as the “Unabomber,” he was indeed a terrorist because he used explosives that killed three people and wounded eighteen others in a span of almost two decades. Even more, his brother David Kaczynski was responsible for his capture.
The United States, land of the free and the home of the brave, has been through many historical shootings and bombings, events like the Boston Marathon bombing are a great example of a horrific event that happened to the American soil. The Boston Marathon bombing was a terrorist attack that killed 3 innocent civilians and estimated an amount of 264 other innocent civilians were injured. The Boston Marathon occurred on Patriot's Day, the third Monday of April. The Boston Marathon is an annual marathon hosted by several cities in greater Boston in eastern Massachusetts, United States(Wikipedia). The Marathon is always held on Patriots’ Day.
The Tsarnaev brothers carry backpacks to two locations near the finish line on Boylston Street. Tamerlan, the older brother, placed his bomb near the finish line at 2:42 p.m. just seven minutes before the first blast. He placed the backpack so the lid of the pressure cooker faced the crowd to cause the most damage (Nova, 2013). Just four minutes before the first blast, the younger brother, Dzhokhar positioned his device near the Forum restaurant. At 2:50 p.m. the cheers turn to terror as the first blast rocked the crowd near the finish line and 10 seconds later, another blast only a block away in front of the Forum restaurant, devastated this annual event just four hours and ten minutes after the race began (Barrett, Shallwani, & Perez, 2013).

The terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001 have forever changed how commercial airlines operate. Even with today’s security measures in place, terrorism is once again on the rise. In the aviation community, the airlines are the ones left to feel the negative effects of these terroristic attacks. The Boston Marathon is a tradition held annually on Patriots’ Day and it attracts hundreds of thousands of people to the 26 mile run from Hopkins, Massachusetts to Boston’s Back Bay Neighborhood. On April 15, 2013, the race was set to mark the 117th anniversary of the marathon. All was well until five hours into the race, Boston became the target of a terrorist attack when two bombs detonated 12 seconds apart from each other. The two bombs which had been placed inside backpacks containing pressure cookers that were filled with pellets and nails, were placed near the finish line where the crowd was watching the race (Boston Marathon bombing of 2013, 2014). The first bomb detonated on the north side of Boylston Street which was less than half a block from the finish line. The second bomb went off 12 seconds later about 600 feet from the first bomb.
