People have their own beliefs on certain topics like abortion, right to die assisted-suicide, and the stand your ground laws. These beliefs are either conservative or liberal. Liberal thinkers believe that a woman has the right to do whatever she wants to do with her body and that a person has the right to die if they want to. Conservative thinkers believe that a baby is a human being and that a loved one or doctor should not help a loved one kill itself. I am on the conservative side for these different types of murders:abortion, right to die assisted-suicide,and stand your ground laws. We in America have our freedom and we can do almost anything we want, but just because we can do something doesn’t mean we should do it for example …show more content…

Mancini gave her 93 year old father his bottle of morphine and then went unconscious. He was found by nurse, Barbara Klattermole, who then called the ambulance” (Cnn News,2013). Mancini does not see it as assisted-suicide by as giving her father his medicine. Liberal thinkers believe that a person has a say in when s/he wants to die. Only five states in the America have legalized physician-assisted suicide, which means a doctor knows a person is going to commit suicide and he is going to give him a prescription for the lethal drugs. A doctor or loved one should not have the right to help someone commit suicide, the only person who has the power to take a life away is God, not doctor or any family member. I disagree with the five states that have legalized physician-assisted suicide, because a doctor should not give someone that medicine that will take their live away. Liberals believe that we have the right to do whatever we want to ourselves because it 's our life. Just because we can do something doesn’t mean we should do it anyway. Our live is very special, if a doctor gives you lethal medicine to end your live, you are being selfish because you 're not thinking about your family members and what they will …show more content…

The stand your ground law states that if you feel like you’re in danger and you kill somebody in self defense then you will not go to jail because of the stand your ground law. The stand your ground law is in 23 states, Indiana is one of those states that has legalized the stand your ground law. Liberals do not believe anybody besides the Nation Guard should carry guns. “Liberals believe more guns more violence but to be honest it’s not the guns but the people who have the guns. Conservatives believe we should carry guns but only use them if we really need to use them for self defense” ( StudentNewsDaily, 2005). The stand your ground law is a good law, if people use it for the right thing. People need to use this law when they are really in danger, not just because it’s legal in your state. Many innocent people are dying from this law. Another example is the Michael Brown case, which is well known in Ferguson. “Michael Brown, eighteen years of age, was walking down the street with a friend. Then Officer Wilson tried to stop the two men by
