I have watched this movie about a thousand times and it’s about a girl
named Sandy who meets a local guy named Danny at the beach while on
vacation and they fall in love. When summer ends Sandy worries about
going home to Australia and never seeing Danny again, but he tells her that
it is only the beginning for them. They then go back to school and Sandy
ends up going to the same school as Danny and they never see eachother
until a quarter of the way into the movie.
The movie takes place in the summer of 1958 into the school year at
their school. The main characters are Sandy, Danny, Danny’s greaser gang
and Sandy’s friends, the Pink Ladies. The story is about a girl and a guy
who meet over summer break, and fall in love. Then

The actors consisted of many different people and characters in the
movie. Some of the actors were John Travolta (Danny), Olivia Newton-
John (Sandy), Jeff Conaway (Kenickie), Michael Tucci (Sonny), Barry Pearl
(Doodie), Kelly Ward (Putzie), Stockard Channing (Betty Rizzo), Didi Conn
(Frenchy), Jamie Donnelly (Jan), Dinah Manoff (Marty), Lorenzo Lamas
(Tom). There is more as well but those are the main actors I’d say. I think
the main actor/actress, Travolta, and Newton-John did the best and played
their parts well. The other actors/actresses did well too, but I really liked the
performance from the main 2.
A scene I specifically like is when Danny is going to do the race
against their rival gang. Another part that goes along with that is when
Sandy holds a pep rally to cause drama, then Danny acts different to
protect his reputation and to not succeed to Sandy’s affections. Those were
2 big parts on showing the type of ego Danny had. I typically don’t care for
music and singing in movies, that’s about the only thing I didn’t like or
The main characters in this story are 6 friends from Cedarville Middle School, a crooked businessman, and a Doberman Pincher. Griffin Bing is, “The Man With The Plan,” and he organizes the missions this group of friends get involved in. Ben Slovak is Griffins best friend and he has a ferret that goes everywhere with him to help him with his narcolepsy or sleep disorder. Pitch Benson is an expert at mountain climbing and she helps them get into impossible places. Melissa Dukakis is a computer expert which comes in handy for eves dropping. Logan Kellerman is an actor and he is good at distracting people. Savannah Drysdale is an animal whisperer which has helped them get past guard dogs. S. Wendell Palomino or, “Swindle” is a crooked businessman who has caused these friends a lot of problems. Luthor is a huge temperamental Doberman who be...
Some actors in this movie do a good job of portraying their character. However, a few take away from the overall experience, such as Tony Ross and Claudia McNeil. Tony Ross, who is an actor known for Pancho Villa, plays Stacey Logan. Claudia McNeil was an actress known for her role in Raisen in the Sun, and she portrays Big Ma. Both of these
One of the main products of this movie that popped out to me was the stars. They all seemed to be great actors even though I only knew one of them. For example, I thought that Ian Michael Smith did a great job portraying Simon Birch. He made the movie cute and funny all at once. I also thought that Joseph Mazello did a great job portraying relatable feelings in the movie. You could tell by his facial expressions what his mood was. All the actors did a great job and I can’t pinpoint one of them who did worse than the
All characters in the movie were played well by the actors in my opinion. They
In the article “ From Fly to Bitches and Hoes” by Joan Morgan, she often speaks about the positive and negative ideas associated with hip-hop music. Black men display their manhood with full on violence, crime, hidden guilt, and secret escapes through drugs and alcohol. Joan Morgan’s article views the root causes of the advantage of misogyny in rap music lyrics. In the beginning of the incitement her desires shift to focus on from rap culture condemnation to a deeper analysis of the root causes. She shows the hidden causes of unpleasant sexism in rap music and argues that we need to look deeper into understanding misogyny. I agree with Joan Morgan with the stance that black men show their emotions in a different way that is seen a different perspective.
One of the main characters is a girl named Jasmine but they call her Jazz for short. Jazz is basically a goth girl and she has black hair with a little pink on top. She goes to high school and is around the age of 15. Jazz is in a pretty bad mood usually but it just depends on what she is doing. The other main character's name is Antonia. Antonia is a very smart girl and helps other people out with their problems. She is like a councilor. She has about shoulder length dirty blond hair and is pretty average in height for her age. She is usually in a good mood but sometimes she can get mad or sad. The last main character is Antonia's mom. She has pretty good attitudes depending on what she feels like. She is in her mid-30's.
So basically the movie still had the Pinks ladies and the T-birds but all the characters were switched around. The main Pink lady was over being a Pink Lady and was over being with the main T-Bird. So the whole movie she’s looking for what she calls a “Cool Rider”. Then ends up discovering it was the nerd guys she’s been rejecting all year, which also happens to be Sandys cousin from Grease one. Wasn’t really much to the movie other than corny romance movie.
The movie main character is Cady Heron who is a homeschooled girl. Her and her family lived in Africa for 15 years. They return back to the states and place Cady into a public school for the first time. Cady meets her classmates and finds a few good friends the introduce her to a group of girls called the Plastics. She ends up joining the plastics with the motive of bring them down because her new friend don’t like them very much and thought it would be funny. However, she eventually gets assimilated into the group of three unkind girls and starts to be just like them.
There were only about five characters that you really got to know in Grease which were Sandy, Danny, Kenickie, Rizo, and Frenchie. In Grease: Live! you found out that Doody was really into learning the guitar and singing, instead of being more of a background character. Patty Simcox and Eugene got a lot more air time, fighting with each other but ending up helping and compromising with each other. They even had a secret love for each other. Marty and her amazing pen pal skills really showed when she got to sing “Freddy My Love” and see how much of a player she is. Even with Principle McGee, she had so many more parts that involved her in the TV show that showed her true love for the students. By going more in depth with each character made the movie not just about Danny and Sandy, but more about the whole group and the problems that each one faced and the things that they wanted to
The first main character is Samantha Keyes, also known as Sammy. Sammy has a great personality. She's very spunky, creative and curious about everything. She will always try to invest into something and learn more about it. She lives with her grandma, because her mom went to hollywood to try to become successful as an actor. She has some really close friends, like Dot and Marissa, but a lot of people at school don’t get her and make fun of her. The next main character is Ritas Keyes or “Grams”, Sammy's grandmother. Sammy
Main Actors: James Stewart, Jean Arthur, Claude Rains, Thomas Mitchell, and Harry Carey, Edward Arnold, Guy Kibbee
When it came time to pick a stage of development, I chose the stage of middle childhood. The movie that best depicted this stage of development to me was the 1991 movie “My Girl”. In this movie, you see a 11-year-old girl named Vada Sultenfuss going through a lot of psychosocial and cognitive changes in her life. She has grown up without her mother due to instant death when being born and she blames herself for her mother’s passing. Her dad is very absent in the upbringing of Vada, as he focuses most of his time and energy into his work as a mortician. Vada is surrounded by death due to the fact that they live in the house where her father constructs his business which is why her view on death is demented. When her dad becomes involved
On Saturday July 29th, 2017, I was able to catch one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a while, Girls Trip. I was able to view the movie with four of three of friends of mines at the Regal Moorestown Mall Stadium 12 & RPX, located in Moorestown, New Jersey. My experience started with the aromas of popcorn. I am one of those type who has to have popcorn with lots of butter while enjoying a movie. After I purchased my popcorn and bottled water I was ready to enjoy this night with my friends. However, I wasn’t the one who purchased the tickets so the seats choices where horrible. They were floor level, on the very far right and third row. Still trying to make the best out of it I reclined my see as far back as possible so my neck would bother me the during the movie. The theater was packed, mostly with women.
Off, and Pretty in Pink. This movie has a mix of genres any individual could possibly enjoy: drama, comedy, and even romance. The actors in the movie performed tremendously in their roles. The actors in the movie are known as “the brat pack”. The movie stars Emilio Estevez, known for popular movies like The Outsiders; Molly Ringwald, who starred in movies like Pretty in Pink and 16 Candles; Anthony Michael Hall, who was in the movie 16 Candles with Molly Ringwald; and Ally Sheedy and Judd Nelson, who both starred in St. Elmo’s Fire.
They witness a massacre and try to find a way out of the city before they are found and killed by the mob. The only job they can find is an all girl band so the two dress up as a woman. In addition to hiding, they both have their own. problems. Then there are the problems.
