Christine Daae has a deep connection with the “Angel of Music’. As her father told her stories of this angel when she was little, her favorite story was of Lotte a little girl who was visited by the angel and had a beautiful voice. Christine tells Raoul that she is going to visit her father’s grave. They see a violin performance by an invisible person, which she believes is the Angel of Music or angel of her father.
The new owners of the opera think they should go take a look at box five themselves. They saw something, but couldn’t really make it out. They figure they are hallucinating because they saw different things. Phantom claims war, but calls for an agreement in a letter to the managers. They don’t accept the agreement, but does the opposite of what the Phantom ask.
At night Christine is singing to Raoul, and makes him sad because he can tell she isn’t herself. Carlotta is singing when she suddenly can’t. Moncharmin and Firmin sitting in box five feel as if there is some else there. Carlotta keeps croaking the chandelier crashes to the ground killing a woman. Christine is suddenly gone after the night of the crashing of the chandelier. She is not found for two weeks; until Raoul finds out she was taken by her “Angel of Music”. He sees her riding in a carriage with a ghostly looking male appearance. The opera holds an annual masquerade ball. Christine comes with a man who is in a Red Death costume. Christine and Raoul get out together but only getting into their first fight. He has a confrontation with Red Death, which is presumed to be the Phantom. Christine has to decide whether she wants to marry the phantom or die there in the Opera house with him. Erik says to either move the scorpion statue for a yes or the grasshopper one for a no. He explains that the grasshopper doesn’t turn but it hops. The Persian thinks that if she moves the grasshopper that it will set off an explosion, but he also believes that the scorpion will kill everyone too. Christine moves the scorpion and the cellar that Raoul and the Persian are in fills up with water. The Comte de Changy is found dead on the shore of the lake that the phantom lives. Raoul, The Persian, and Christine escape the room. Erik is devastated and wants to be buried with the gold ring that he gave Christine. The announcement that “Erik is dead,” is out and they burry him by the lake.

Cesar especially feels the beauty of music “Oh, how he loved to hear the words in his mouth… It didn't matter that he didn't understand the language, he knew what it meant. The words and music fused together and became a part of him” and through music, he discovers his latent talent for singing (224). Based only on Roxanne’s previous arias, Cesar’s potential is outstandingly bright when he sings for the first time without any training whatsoever. Not only do the others learn to appreciate his gift, but Roxanne herself recognizes how promising he is or she would not have bothered to waste her time tutoring him. Beforehand, Cesar is nothing remarkable, just another one of the terrorists who detains them, but the opera transforms him into a separate person. Like the mansion enveloped in the garua, Cesar is heavily shrouded by serious self-esteem issues and fear, but after his breakthrough, his worries suddenly disappear and his life becomes a reservoir of joy. After swimming to safety, Frederic boards a train and reunites with Catherine. She is pregnant with their baby. With the help of an Italian bartender, Catherine and Frederic escape to Switzerland, and plan to marry after the baby is born. When Catherine goes into labor, the doctor suddenly discovers that her pelvis is too narrow to deliver the baby. He attempts an unsuccessful Cesarean section, and she dies in childbirth with the baby. To Frederic, her dead body is like a statue; he walks back to his hotel without finding a way to say goodbye, seemingly lost forever.
The production focuses on a set of teenagers who are friends with Allison, who surreptitiously convinces her friends to share their secrets, thus developing her loyalty to them. Once Allison disappeared, she left a mystery of who was responsible for her disappearance, dragging her friends into her dark secrets. Her body is later found, and the girls, who drifted apart after Allison went missing, start to reconnect, but their troubles are only beginning. After the funeral, all four of the girls receive messages from a stoker who calls himself or herself 'A'. ‘A' exposes many of the girl's dark secrets that only Allison knew of, leading the girls to wonder if Allison might be alive after all. ‘A' causes trouble for the girls and intervenes in their life, threatening not only their lives, but also the lives of those around them. On the road to discovering who ‘A' is, the girls come across numerous clues that incriminate people that they trust and love. Many citizens of the town seem involved in the mystery of their friend's death, making the entire town seem like a place of danger and discomfort.
Although Leroux was best known for his novel Phantom of the Opera, which was published in 1911, it didn’t attract a lot of attention at first. Gaston spent a lot of his time at the Palais Garnier opera house. That was where he got the idea to write this story. The opera house consisted of twenty-five hundred rooms, some being used as dungeons. It also had a huge chandelier and an underground lake. Leroux claimed that the underground levels and the mysterious lake were an ambience for a mystery book. That building linked Gaston’s life with his book. Although there were not a lot of similarities between him and the book, there is one more besides the opera house. The other connection that Leroux’s life had to his book was a chandelier accident.

Also, the lair is only revealed during the night which contributes to the mysterious element. Furthermore, the gothic element of a supernatural being also is presented in The Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom possesses various paranormal capabilities that are displayed throughout the story. For example, the Phantom causes the chandelier in the opera house to crash to the ground without touching it. The supernatural qualities that are demonstrated by the Phantom strengthen the element of gothic literature. Additionally, the component of romance is exhibited throughout. From the early beginnings, the Phantom reveals his undying love for Christine. The romance component is best exemplified when the Phantom kidnaps Christine and attempts to force her to marry the Phantom. Lloyd Webber’s widely regarded masterpiece Phantom Of The Opera uses key motifs and themes throughout the musical to establish its characters and scenes in an effective manner. Throughout the production the motifs, themes and songs all develop to reflect the changes their respective characters undergo. This is particularly evident when analysing The Phantom, his motifs and songs, and how they develop throughout the story.
The play Othello by William Shakespeare is based on an Italian story in Giraldi Cinthio's Hecatommithi (Grolier). In Othello we encounter Iago, one of Shakespeare's most evil characters. Iago is an officer in Othello's army and is jealous of Cassio's promotion to Lieutenant. Through deception and appearance, we see unfolded many lies and clever schemes. The astonishing thing about Iago is that he seems to make up his malicious schemes as he goes along without any forethought. Noted writer Samuel Taylor Coleridge describes Iago's plan as "motive-hunting of a motiveless malignity" (Scott 413). Iago seizes every opportunity to further advance his plan to his advantage. Greed plays a major role as a motive for his various schemes and lies.
Desdemona is one of the protagonists of the play contributes to the play and also fleshes out certain aspects of characterisation mainly where Othello and Iago are concerned. Thus her relevance is highlighted consistently throughout Othello, since without her ppresence, Iago would not have succeeded in manipulating Othello, and Othello's drastic transformation would not have been made evident.
Her drawn-out confession is worded in a way that the “someone” that she loves “who loves [her] too” seems to be Cyrano because every description matches him (73). However, she calls him “beautiful” (74) and concludes that the man is “Baron Christian de Neuvillette” (75) Not only does this contradict the audience’s expectations, but it also weaves in her instinctive disregard for a consideration of inner beauty. Despite her claims about knowing his true character, her response exhibits her falling into the trap of superficiality. For fifteen years, Roxane remains unaware of her true love and only discovers the truth with his death; from “the letters” to “the voice…in the dark,” everything was Cyrano and not Christian (220). As the spark of truth ignited her love, the life of her lover was extinguished. She did not doubt her lover’s identity until it is too late, communicating that she did not question his perfection. This comes to show that even those who should know do not realize the potential falsity of a person; in this case, Roxane, who was Christian’s lover and Cyrano’s family and friend, did not connect the two together. The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Hall-25 Anniversary Celebration was filmed for the 25th anniversary for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s critically acclaimed Phantom of the Opera. The script was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The show is based off of the book Le Fantôme de l'Opéra by Gaston Leroux. The show opens in Paris 1905 at an auction of old theater props from L’Opera Populaire. As they are auctioning off old props of the theater they come up to an old music box with a monkey on top of it. An elderly man buys it and the auctioneer soon moves on to what he calls “ chandelier in pieces” and coincides with the mysterious Phantom of the Opera. The cloth over the chandelier comes off and the it comes to life with light and we are transported back to 1881. The show follows Christine, a young vocalist with great beauty, and an Opera House Phantom who yearns to be closer and love her. The Phantom, who has a deformed face hides it from the world behind his mask try to lure Christine to his heart by teaching her the ways of music and vocals only for her to fall in love with her childhood friend Raoul. The Phantom of the Opera centers on the Paris Opera House which has over time become the Phantom’s domain. Upon the news that the opera house has been bought and is under new ownership, the Phantom demands that the new owners honor the “agreement” he has established with the previous owners and that the fifth opera box is kept empty for his use and that his salary of 20,000 francs per month is honored. The Phantom also demands that Christine, whom he has secretly been giving singing lessons to, replace Carlotta Giudicelli, the opera company’s prima donna. He also warns that if his demands are not met, that the opera house and the opera company will need to pay the consequences. Though the origins of the Phantom are unknown to the general population of the opera house, Madame Giry knows more about the Phantom than she lets on. They keep talking about everyday life until one night at the Opera House, where she not only sees her father, but her brother and mother as well.
