The Notorious Escape from Alcatraz Prison
In San Francisco, California is where the notorious Alcatraz prison is located. A total number of 14 escape attempts which included 36 men. Twenty-three were caught,seven were killed,and one person drowned. But, you can’t forget about the inmates Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers’ . Some people believe that these inmates died trying to escape.Others believe that the Alcatraz escapees are still alive to this day. On June 11,1962 the brothers were never seen or heard from again,or at least that’s what people say. Even though there was a high likelihood that their boat could have been swept out to sea by the strong current, Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers could have pushed their way through the current and survived. …show more content…

In addition, this text states that a 120 ft long piece of electrical wire went missing at the prison and never turned up. This evidence, therefore shows that the Anglin brothers could have escaped riding the back of an outgoing ferry using electrical wire.
Second of all, frank Morris and the Anglin brothers knew exactly how to escape. The author shows in the article “A Real Escape from Alcatraz” on page 7,visuals and graphics of the inmates toolkit. The tool kit included pictures of the artifacts left behind by the inmates. Also, another example of evidence can be found on page 6 of that text. The article states that the Anglin brothers were given tips by their childhood friend on exactly how they could escape and that’s exactly what they did. This evidence shows that they had a plan to escape and were given tips by one of their childhood
