Children are less likely to read as much. If you see a Shakespeare book next to a laptop, most kids these days are going to choose to pickup the laptop without second guessing it. Technology also gives the children different life skills. These newly taught skills would be very useful later in their lives. Having knowledge on how to type, how to research and how to gather information on their own puts these children at an advantage when looking for a job in the future.
