Holocaust, a time of suffrage, horror, and isolation. The Holocaust was the the mass murder of 11-14 million people under the German Nazi regime during the period 1941-1945. More than 6 million European Jews and members of persecuted groups; such as Gypsies and homosexuals were murdered. People all over Germany and Eastern Europe were murdered because of their ethnic group. The Nazis directed all their anger toward the Jews. They wanted to segregate all Jews from the rest of the population. The Holocaust involved much hatred and suffering and it was not just adults being murdered, but everyone, including children. But where were they hidden during the Holocaust? The Nazi persecution of Jews began in Germany in 1933. They kidnapped your family, feelings, they even took your humanity. According to ushmm.org, all of Europe's Jews were slated for destruction: the sick, the healthy, the rich, the poor, and even the infants.
