The Murder of Dr. Robinson, in the St. Petersburg graveyard
Perspective:
After Injun Joe stabbed Dr. Robison to death Tom Sawyer fled the scene because of pure horror. Tom was now scared out of his mind of Injun Joe. Tom had wanted to tell the authorities of what had happened but because of his fear Injun Joe he had to keep it a secret. Tom was afraid if he told the authorities it was Injun Joe who had killed Dr. Robison but Tom was afraid that Joe would come after him and killed him once he had done so.
Trait:
Tom has many traits. Tom Sawyer can be selfless, admirable, rowdy, energetic, and persuasive. Tom is persuasive because he was able to convince other kids to do his chore of painting the fence by faking the enjoyment of doing the task. The other kids even paid Tom to do the painting!

When Injun Joe was young and homeless he attempted to buy a meal at Dr. Robison family restaurant, but Robinson’s father drove Joe out of the place because he was Native American. From that day on he vowed to get revenge on the Robinson family no matter what the cost was. Injun Joe was working Dr. Robinson and Muff Porter (who was drunk) for some extra money. Dr. Robinson cried foul then Joe started to threaten him. Robinson struck Joe then stated wrestling with Porter as well. Once Dr. Robison had knocked out Porter Joe stuck a knife in Dr. Robinson’s chest causing him to die. He did not have any sympathy at all and blamed the event on Muff Porte (because he was knocked out and drunk he believed what Joe had blamed him for because he had no recollection of what had
