What does an inspirational teacher look like? An inspirational teacher looks like Annie from “The Miracle Worker”. A inspirational teacher believes in his/her students.
They have faith and hope when no other person does. A real-life inspirational teacher helps change a student that thinks everything is impossible, she/he helps change a student mindset of what they can accomplish in life. A real-life inspirational teacher can help a student believe in themselves, the teacher helps and never gives up on a student. That’s why Annie Sullivan is a better real-life inspirational teacher.
A real-life inspirational teacher looks like Annie from The Miracle Worker. Annie is the definition of an inspirational teacher because Annie never gives up on Helen. Annie has hope and faith in Helen and although no-one else does Annie believes that Helen will someday be able to communicate. Annie believes in Helen, Helen is blind/deaf Annie is Helen’s teacher, Helen’s parents don't have faith in Helen or Annie. Annie of course wants to prove them wrong and wants to show that she will be able to get Helen under control. Annie has faith and believes in Helen and never gives up on Helen. So she tries her hardest to help Helen get better and be able to communicate with others, Annie is the real-life definition of an inspirational

Ron Clark had something different he wanted everyone to succeed and if you didn't well he told you to try harder and helped you out, but what Ron Clark had was that once he got really mad he would just explode, and he did explode on a student before. He gave up after that little misunderstanding and he wanted to quit and he was disappointed in himself. Although he really was inspirational and all that he just showed a couple of times that sometimes it’s better to give up. But Annie Sullivan did not show any of that she would fight for her to be able to do her
As I read these articles, I agreed with almost everything that was said. The Great Teacher Question: Beyond Competencies, by Edward R. Ducharme begins with a sentence that basically sums up my reason for teaching, “I begin this essay by defining a great teacher as one who influences others in positive ways so that their lives are forever altered” (Ducharme, 1991 p. 2). Over the course of a student’s education they will have many teachers, but there are maybe only one or two who are THE teacher. The teacher who impacts this child’s life in a positive way forever. The rest of the articles follow this same theme, suggesting ways that teachers can become THE teacher. One of the most important qualities I found in these articles (and one I
A major aspect of writing is being able to express oneself while connecting to the reader. Writers, whether professionally or forced, often use literary devices to (hopefully, but not all the time) make their work more interesting--as Caprice Albrecht did in her narrative, Miracles. While literary deceives are important to connect with the reader, the main goal of the writer is to touch the reader with ethics, logic, or make them feel empathetic towards the topic. Albrecht primarily used imagery and similes to convey how she feels about the generosity that people are capable of showing in dire situations; especially how a little love can change someone else’s life in a drastic way. Through the story of an abused baby becoming apart of the family, Albrecht used pathos in order to express the various emotions felt by her entire family.
They are mentors to many of their students and an inspiration to a brighter future. Throughout my life mentors have played a very major role in my success in education and life matters to the point where I have managed. Surprisingly many of my mentors are teachers. There are many times that I have thought of giving up not only on education but also in life but later find myself reading and achieving more. Just as in the movie discussed in this paper mentors’ encouraging words are the reason why I did not give up.
bringing the dead to life. I am going to look at two examples of each
The videos embedded within the article gives a clear depiction of what a “good” teacher appears and acts like in front the classroom. These examples derive from actual teachers working with Teach for America illustrating a successful teacher and classroom. Although the Motivator, Tour Guide, Manager, and Connector are all great examples for teachers, current teachers should not epitomize and mimic one example but parallel all. I believe that a great teacher includes qualities from all four examples. Great teachers should not only be able to stimulate and induce an interest in learning but also engage with the projects and lessons, transcends discipline, and be able to incorporate modern ideas and experiences within the classroom. Becoming just the Motivator or just the Tour Guide will not have an effective education onto his or her classroom. But keep in mind, like the title states: what makes a great teacher? What makes him or her different from other teachers? And lastly, what are they doing different?
Before watching “Life’s Greatest Miracle,” I knew conceiving a baby is a complex and difficult process. However, I did not realize just how complex and difficult that process actually is. Conceiving a baby takes a lot more than meets the eye: it takes DNA from both genders, the right timing and so much more.
miracles that are seen by those who do not believe in a God, as such.
The miracles of Jesus are the supernatural deeds attributed to Jesus in Christian text. They were categorized into four groups; cures, exorcisms, resurrection of the dead, and control over nature by Henrik Van der Loos. Many Christians and Muslims believe the miracles are real historical events. Liberal Christians consider these stories to be figurative. Modern scholars tend to be skeptical about miracles. In the Synoptic Gospels, Jesus refuses to give a miraculous sign to prove his authority. In the Gospel of John, Jesus is said to have performed seven miraculous signs that characterized his ministry.
Knowing the characteristics of an exceptional teacher, along with realizing the challenges that teachers face to become effective and respected are daily motivation for me. They inspire me to become a more educated and knowledgeable person, which will allow me to become the admirable, successful teacher I know I can be.
The Miracle Worker a movie based on the real life of Anne Sullivan a helper hired as a teacher for a young girl Helen Keller condemned both death and blind after recovering from a tragic illness. Their story is nothing short of a miracle filled with hardships and struggles, and relationships built on dependence, trust, and loyalty. Anne first enters the Keller estate unappreciated, and unwelcomed; however, Miss. Sullivan needed to prove Helen can be helped; which allowed her to strengthen her relationships as she became a member to the Keller family.
“ The thing worse than being blind is having sight, but no vision.” - Helen Keller Today’s topic is about two inspiring teachers that helped students succeed. They were Anne Sullivan and Ron Clark, who both were teachers inspired to teach. Both Anne and Ron had trouble achieving their goal. Anne tried to teach Helen sign language and achieved her goal. Ron also taught an entire class and had them pass the exam. The topic is mainly about how Anne and Ron are inspiring teachers.
In schools, teachers can be role models. Many students want to be like their favorite teacher.
My view of Literature is that it is the soul to the imagination. I may be mistaken, but that is the beauty of literary words; there is no truth, no right nor wrong in them, yet they hold just about everything to learn on life. Miss Judy Brown, my form four English teacher, has really inspired me in indispensible ways. She is definitely one in a billion.
A good teacher is one that motivates the students to always keep trying and do their best. However, an ethical and virtuous teacher is one who changes a student’s life forever and shapes their character into becoming a successful and respectful human being. Teachers have an important part in our lives and they impact us every day. Not only do they teach us something new each passing day, they also give us lessons that we will use in every decision we make in our lives. Luckily, I was able to have a teacher who pushed me beyond all my limits and always believed in me. That marvelous teacher was my fourth-grade teacher, Mrs. Alvarado.
A Teacher Holds the Key to Knowledge, Success, and Fun The greatest gift a teacher can give students is a positive learning experience that lasts a lifetime. An outstanding teacher is a good role model, fair, consistent, and open to new ideas. A good teacher can motivate and entertain without students realizing the learning process it taking place. It is a great achievement for a teacher to see the “light bulb” come on over a student’s head when he/she understand a problem or can figure out an equation.
