Lord of Flies is a movie based a the novel named Lord of Flies, It is written by William Golding. In 1963, Lord of Flies was shoot into a film. It is directed by Peter Brook,music by Raymond Leppard. In the film, there is a plane crush. The British boys who are in the plane landed in an Uninhabited island. After they accept that they need to live in the island, they elected Ralph to be their leader. Jack want to be the leader too, but he didn’t gets enough vote as Ralph. Ralph ask Jack and his men to go hunt, and he and other boys will light a fire in order to get rescue. At first, everything went smoothly. Jack is the first one to put body paint on his face. After he puts body paints on his face and body, he is not just a leader of choir anymore, he became a savage. And not long after that, he became Cacique of his tribe. We can see that, after the boys putted on the body point, they become savages completely. They running around all day and not to think about their situation, they forgot they are British and all their culture. More importantly, they start to adapt and enjoy their life there, and not thinking about home anymore. The paint reveal their own nature, they do things that are forbidden in a civilized society. The director Peter Brook show to the audience the change of those British boys vividly, he directly showing the conflict in the film without a single enhancement. So when we can see the fights and the murder right in our eyes, and leave a strong impression of how fast and how violent people can change without law and order. In the death of Simon, we can see that fear to unknown things is tangible, and it does kills people. From Ralph’s behavior of torture the boys who did wrong, accidentally killed piggy, and trying to hunt Ralph, we can see how much human will change when we have
