I think there is no good in cutting trees down because in the movie The Lorax they cut all trees down and not a single tree left standing. Now for that reason, yes at some point all our trees will fall down. So here is something that may change your mind about how we are going to have no trees soon. So for this I do not think we will have a resource for a while if you keep cutting and not let them grow back we will soon have no trees just like in the movie The Lorax. Now in The Lorax this guy went completely crazy making his dream come true of selling his product and making money that he cut down every single tree out there. Now this is why we won’t have resources forever because nobody will stand up and stop these people from cutting
down our precious trees which we use for oxygen, paper, and everything else we make out of it so of course if we keep cutting down tree the way we our we will not have no more resources. That is why if you don’t stand up for the tree we will soon have no resources. Now that explains my point of we won’t have resources forever. So for now you better limit the cutting of trees before we have nothing.
I think everyone has wanted to be a Navy SEAL in one point of their life, but as they get older their dream of being the best of the best fades away. Marcus Luttrell has had that dream of being a SEAL since the age of seven, and his determination and will to survive the hardest training in military history, gave Luttrell the title of a Navy SEAL.
Luminol is a yellow, crystalline compound that has the molecular formula C8H7N3O2. Luminol has unique properties because it exhibits chemiluminescence in low light conditions when exposed to an oxidizing agent. Chemiluminescence occurs when a chemical reaction releases energy in the form of photons. It usually occurs when an oxidizer such as peroxide reacts with an other molecule. The product produced in the reaction is in the excited electron state. When it falls to the ground electronic state, energy is emitted as a photon, which is why light is observed.
can actually leave more space for new trees. Also, cutting down trees gives more multiple resources to contribute for our needs. One tree can produce many things to help we humans and cutting them down can be more of a benefit than a disadvantage. Trees can be very beneficial and be used as many resources through education and basically everyday life. The Truax has a more realistic view on the environment and how we are using it.
LuLaRoe leggings are really popular, and people are constantly buying new pairs. If you can't find a pair of LuLaRoe, they call them a Unicorn and people will do anything to find them. Now some of the LuLaRoe leggings are under fire because people feel like they are actually racist. Buzz Feed shared about which leggings have LuLaRoe fans upset over them.
Lithium (Li), the third element on the periodic table, has a soft texture and a silver-white color. This element has an atomic number of three, and is located on the periodic table in the second period of the first group. In addition to being the first alkali metal on the periodic table, lithium is also the lightest metal; its weight is about 6.941 atomic mass units (AMU). Because it is a metal, lithium is mainly used in ionic bonds. Its common compounds include lithium hydride (LiH), lithium nitride (Li3N), lithium carbonate (Li2CO3), lithium hydroxide (LiOH), and lithium fluoride (LiF). Lithium is the thirty-third most abundant element and makes up a very small portion of the Earth’s crust. However, due to its high reactivity, it does not naturally occur in its pure form.
First of all, I enjoy the movie “The Lorax”; my children and I watch it often. Based on a book by Dr. Seuss, “The Lorax” is about a man named the Once-ler, who is an entrepreneur in search of making it big. The Once-ler stumbles upon an untouched wilderness where beautiful Truffula trees grow everywhere. The trees are just what he needs, so he harvests the Truffula Trees to create his product called a Thneed (a thing that all people need). The Once-ler meets a creature called the Lorax, who speaks for the trees and the interests of the natural environment and its native residents. The Lorax advises him not to cut down and destroy all the trees but the Once-lers greediness to mass produce the Thneeds leads to the extinction of Truffula Trees,
...o enforce programs that used recycling, the need for disposable products would be diminished. When I started this argument project my feeling were leaning more toward the side of non deforestation. But after doing lots of research on the topic of deforestation and forest thinning, I have found that my opinion has changed. I still don’t feel strongly about trees being cut down. But there is logical reasoning behind almost every issue. Weather it is cutting down damaged trees or trimming them because of fire danger, the reasons will help the human economy in the end. But I think that the government should be more aware of the areas that they are clearing. So that tribes are not lost, and communities are not affected. I also think that they should only cut down the amount of lumber that is desperately needed. Therefore, eliminating how many forests are destroyed.
Therefore, the consequences of destroying it will be very harsh on us humans. If we take the resources such as wood from the rainforest, for our everyday use now, we will be the ones suffering in long term. Rainforest use to cover 14% of our earth, and now its left with only 6%. From looking at the rainforest from different perspective actually tells us a lot.
Rainforests once covered 14% of the worlds land surface, however now it only covers a mere 6%. It is estimated that all rainforests could be consumed in less than 40 years. Trees are becoming more needed and used everyday. We need them cut down for many reasons such as paper and timber, while also needing them ‘untouched’ for other reasons like oxygen, we have to ask ourselves, which is more important? At the current rate, most of the rainforests are being cut down for resources like paper and timber, but less importance is being placed on main resources like oxygen.
Regarding the business strategy of Loxo, the company aims to, “develop a pipeline of highly selective drugs that inhibit oncogenic drivers in cancer” (Loxo 1) as stated on their website. Since these genetically defined cancers affect each patient differently, the goal is to establish a general therapy that would be strong enough to fight the tumors and make any changes if necessary. Their treatments are patient-focused, as the therapy will build selective inhibitors to fight the drivers, which can vary from each case. Loxo’s goal is to have its therapy available to as many patients as possible, as seen with the partnership with the international company Bayer.
II.Audience connection/credibility: It is very important for us to understand that trees do so much for our environment and we need to stop destroying the trees because trees provide a home for many creatures, they are the lungs of our world. Trees have medicinal benefits, that are very useful to the human race. Trees are very beneficial to the world and it is unethical to keep destroying the trees.
...hich is an issue that simply cannot be ignored, due to the implications it has on our atmosphere. Our trees must be preserved as they are humanities biggest ally in the fight against the greenhouse effect, and if we continue to cut these trees down at rates faster than they can recover, the end for humanity as we know will be sooner rather than later. If deforestation is limited it will also limit the loss of biodiversity, which is an integral aspect to future survival.
Trees are terrific. They cover the world and provide air and beauty for all to enjoy. Yes indeed trees are terrific. There are many uses for trees and their byproducts. Everywhere we look there are trees or some kind of shrub that always give us something to look at.
...ll persons. Only when the population of Earth contributes as a whole to stopping deforestation, will this dire situation be resolved. Deforestation must be stopped; our very survival depends on it.
Trees are one of the most important parts of the biosphere. They provide oxygen, which is one of the largest producers of life. Humans live and strive off of oxygen every second of their lives. Not just humans need oxygen to survive and thrive on Earth, but animals, and other creatures on the planet do as well. Trees are a huge part of all life and if they were gone, there would consequently be no form of life. Not only do trees create all forms of life, but they create beautiful surroundings for an area and create a comfortable and shady environment for all surrounding life. Even though trees seem to be everywhere you look, the planet is losing billions upon billions of them a year. Anywhere from three billion to six billion trees are lost every year, ("How Many Trees Are Cut Down Every Year? Rainforest Action Network Blog. N.p., n.d. Web. 10 Apr. 2014”). With this fact in thought, it shows that planting one tree can create a bigger difference than you realize.
