Recommended: Joker analysis as a villain

If a villian is successful at what he does he will become famous for all the bad things that he has done. My favorite villian in all the movies that i have watched would be the joker in batman. The joker is an opposite figure from the hero because he loves to cause pain and suffering to all the people around him as the hero likes to save people and do good deeds for all the citizens. Joker has the characteristics of a crazy person that make him such a great villian. He doesnt care if anyone gets hurt and he likes to put the hero in difficult sisuations. In the movie batman the joker plays a role of one of the greates villian of all time who is careless, funny, creative.

The joker in the movie batman dose all of his criminal acts care free. He blows things up like its nothing and he has no problem with killing tons of people if someone doesnt stop him . While batman taks everything he does seriously and doesnt want to make any mistakes because if he does somebody might lose their life. For example, in the movie the joker puts two people in place where they are likely to die and leaves it up to batman to try to save them. As he is getting …show more content…

In the movie batman the joker will turn a scene that should be a terrifing scene and put a little comedy into it.For example, when he is going into the hospital to talk to harvey insteadof wearing a regular docters out fit he puts on a nurses outfit and wears a wig. Also not forgetting that he has his face painted. Another good example of how the joker is funny is that he is trying to blow up the hospital but its not working, so he is banging on the remote to try to blow it up. Once he blows it up he is jumping around all happy and then just walks on the last bus like no one even saw what he was doing. But there is no way that batman would every try to be funny when he is solving crime he is always serious and even his voice makes the tone more

    The Dark Knight borrowed elements from Batman: The Killing Joke, a 1988 DC Comics graphic novel, which provides an origin story for the Joker. The connection between the two leads to a similar origin story of the creation of the Joker through the influence of Batman. Batman's interference in The Killing Joke causes the Joker to leap into a chemical vat, which severely disfigures him. In The Dark Knight, the Joker himself also has multiple testimonies on how he came to be. He sometimes blames his abusive and alcoholic father for creating his mutilated smile while in a drunken rage one night. The Joker also claims that after his wife’s face was mutilated, he pulled a razor on his own to comfort her by showing that her damaged appearance didn’t bother him. After carving his own cheeks, he says that, “she couldn’t stand the sight of (him).” This disturbing attempt to make her feel better makes causes worse, resulting in his wife leaving him, furthering his mental instability. Although the scars are present on The Dark Knight version of the Joker, the rest of his appearance is cosmetic in contrast to the physiological image of the Joker from the 1989 Batman film. The Joker in The Dark Knight applies chalk white makeup to his face and dark products to blacken the spaces around his eyes. He also dyes his greasy hair green rather than having the chemically bleached green hair follicles of the 1989 Joker who fell into the bubbling green substance. Their personalities differ mainly by the 1989 Joker being more comical while The Dark Knight Joker being more psychotic. The Joker from The Dark Knight calls himself an “agent of chaos” and wishes to drag everyone down to his level of insanity and corruption rather than just kill them
