The Declaration of Independence helped form who our country is today; the Declaration of Independence didn’t exist then we wouldn’t of been an ble to inspire other countries to reform their government or make themselves a new one by fighting a war. For instance, The French Revolutionary War, which took place right after our American Revolutionary War. The French took inspiration from our bravery and the Declaration of Independence to become free from their king. Among them was a French military officer Marquis de Lafayette was an aristocrat that fought in the american revolutionary war and helped us dearly in the fight against Britain then he went home to help France to bring freedom to his people. Marquis de Lafayette hoped that we would
help bring freedom to his people; sadly we did not because it was not a official agreement between both countries. We also have inspired Russia to get rid of their czar in the Russian Revolution. The Russian Revolution, in 1917, was inspired by the Declaration of Independence to become free from their czar. Although that Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, we still encouraged the Russians to get rid of their unruly czar and replace their government with semi-presidential system. Nearly right after the Irish also had a revolutionary war that the Declaration of Independence helped inspire them to break off from Britain and to become their own country. The Revolutionary war for the Irish, happened in 1919 - 1921, and helped them break away from britain for good and form their own country. During the time that Ireland was apart of Great Britain was trapping the new state and keeping them apart of Great Britain. Successfully they did win their war and gain independence from britain. After Ireland did break off and form their own country, other areas of Great Britain followed them the same year as they broke off. Astonishing we helped all of these three countries and more to break off from their country to reform or have their own country, but if the thirteen colonies would of never joined together because of the declaration of Independence was signed then these three countries might of not separated from their government or mother country.
The declaration of Independence is an amazing document. It’s authors portrayed their anger, their disappointment, and their dream in a new government through this document. A government meant to protect the people's rights. They manifested this dream. they used logos and pathos along with other forms of rhetoric to show the people the urgency of their situation.
The Declaration was for the colonists to seek for independence. The quote most widely known is “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”(Jefferson) The Declaration of Independence was written mostly by Thomas Jefferson who stated the above quote. Like the Declaration of Sentiments, all men are created equal. The Declaration of Independence allows the people to have the right to abolish an proposition that they do not agree with. They also have the right to institute a new government if they do not feel it is not ensuring safety and happiness to everyone; they can vote in a government who will ensure this. It is also the peoples right to throw out a government when laws are abused. Every year on July 4, people in the United States celebrate Independence day, also known as the Fourth of
When it comes to the Declaration of Independence, it affected not only the people of the colonies, but in fact, affected people around the globe and still affects people to this very day. This single document helped inspire nearly half of the 192 nations apart of the United Nations to have their own declaration of independence (Armitage, 2007). The Declaration of Independence is seen as one of our nation’s most prestigious document and this is because it is the document that declared our independence from Great Britain and the Royal Crown. The Declaration of Independence cut the political connections between the thirteen original colonies and Great Britain. By declaring independence, the American colonists were able to forge an official alliance with France and obtained French assistance in the war against Britain. The Purpose of the declaration was to explain why congress had voted, July 2nd 1776, to declare their independence from Great Britain, over a year after the American Revolutionary war began.
The American Declaration of Independence has affected the foundation of the United States more than any other event or document in American history. The Declaration of Independence was the basis for what the country was established on. The document was a way for the colonists to emancipate themselves from the cruelty of King George. The Declaration of Independence was a major turning point for the fleeing people that sought out freedom. The people that were persecuted by the Mother Country, Great Britain. The lifestyle that was proposed by Britain was limiting and restricting the people that wanted freedom. Those people fled from the country to find a place where they practice their religion, and establish their own government. They wanted to be removed from the overpowering monarchy, which they once called home. But freedom was more important than tradition. This led to the thirteen colonies that formed a Congress that promoted the Declaration of Independence, and officially broke from Great Britain. The Declaration of Independence was created by the British colonies of North America who sought independence, July 4th 1776. They have overthrown their tyrannical unjust ruler. Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence for the American colonists to proclaim freedom from Great Britain's oppressor, King George III. American colonists had been suffering for many years when this important document was drafted. King George III had pushed the colonists into a state of tyranny and most decided it was time to start an independent nation under a different type of government. Jefferson focused his piece toward many audiences. He wanted not only King George III and the British Parliament to know the American's feelings, but also the entire world. The time had come for an immense change amongst the American colonists and Jefferson made sure everyone was aware of it by using his superior strategies of persuasion.
The Declaration of Independence was written to separate the American colonies from Britain, but there were many underlying goals. It was written to state the grievances that the colonists held against the British, particularly the king. The colonists wanted a better economy, a new republican government, but perhaps most of all, they simply wanted their misery to end. This is what they set out to explain in the document. John Adams described it as “a Declaration setting forth the causes which have impelled us to this mighty revolution, and the reasons which will justify it in the sight of God and man” (Friedenwald 182).
When in the course of the household we, the teens, have always had the responsibility of doing the chores around the house. When oneself has to do chores one has to miss out on hanging out with friends, going to the mall, et cetera. Of course we do not wish to be disrespectful toward our parents but it is now time that we write our own Declaration of Independence. It is important that our parents or guardians know how everyone feels about the chores that have been placed on us and why we should be independent.
The Declaration of Independence includes four parts. The first part is the Preamble, which explains why the Continental Congress drew up the Declaration. They felt their reason should be explained to England.
Intro: The Declaration of Independence shapes our ideal vision in America by letting every individual have unalienable rights, not having to live under a tyrant, and having equality. These rights are to be protected by one government that is willing to secure these rights for the people. Due to not being responsible towards the people’s happiness, this government will be overthrown and replaced with a new one in which the people will be satisfied with.

The Declaration of Independence caught my attention from the movie “National Treasure, (2004)”, the history that this document holds is unbelievable and how it was the origination of the United States is mind blowing. If the Declaration of Independence was not followed through with or signed, where would we be today? Life, Liberty, and happiness were a few key factors that society upheld for the making of the thirteen colonies in the United States, however, all man were to be treated equal and most importantly we as a country were to stand
