Recommended: The Effect Of Social Media

Social media has been very popular due to different social networking sites, blog sites and video sites including podcasts. Social media sites run by a particular group or person cannot avoid to be biased though and we all know this. There are some who pays a particular domain or site to say or do their bidding and that is normal part of the social media. With the use of social media, we can gather a lot of information as well considering that this information comes from different group of people based on their backgrounds and point of view as well as their cultural differences. Today social media with all the many social networks is very popular. With blog sites, videos and networking sites you can see that social networking is the biggest thing out. Social media Hal Sparks is an example of a popular podcasts that is known for its different topics and the way it deals with its topics. His favorite topic is hypocrisy in the government and how the government tries to use its power over social media and controls it. Hal always speak about privacy in the internet and how internet can affect someone’s life and why the government is taking care of it or doing something to protect the privacy of the internet users. One reason why Hal says it is being controlled by the government is because the way politicians try to do their bidding with different corporations supporting them. Corporations are the one who posts or do social media advertising for these politicians then. Through social media, some politicians can also now tell their stories on how they do their job like solving a crime through public broadcasts which influenced the public heavily. Hal’s points of view are actually great but I guess he is too personal with it and there ... ... middle of paper ... ...going to look for past issues from a newspaper. NPR also covers a lot of news and stories since it got contributors around the world hence there are news about different places and countries around the world. Internet sources are becoming great source for research and educational purposes. Among the main reasons for this are the easy access it provides, the different views that you can get about a certain topic and the different concepts about it all in one paper. This is important especially for me since I am gathering information in order to write my paper. There are different links and videos as well that I can use making my research the easier. This is more than I can get if I will be using the old timer encyclopedia. Also, with the internet, there are always new sources available that I can use and I can check my sources from the old one to the new one.
