The Incredibles’ Chapter… Luminous lights glinted in the eery darkness of Syndrome’s evil lair. Machines turned. Red warning lights flashed. Lurking in the unknown, the devil stood, red hair blowing in the wind like a roaring flame. He strode out of the shadows, with a menacing smirk right across his face and glared intensely at Mr. Incredible. Long blue snakes grasped Mr. Incredible as he hung from a mysterious machine, their sharp teeth piercing him every time he tried to move. A once strong, muscular body had been turned into a weak vulnerable one. Syndrome was overjoyed with his deadly plans and would stop at nothing to gain more authority over Mr.Incredible… "You sir, truly are Mr. Incredible," bellowed the patronising beast. "I was right to idolise you. I always knew you were tough, but tricking the probe by hiding under the bones of another super? Oh man! Incredible twitched in fear of his secrets being revealed; it was the last thing he wanted if he wanted to save the world. Muscles all over his body tensed. The torture of listening to Syndrome was unbearable. "And then you had to go and just ruin the ride," Syndrome cackled, his voice lengthening the pain of every word. Clearly mocking him, he continued with his lecture, "I mean Mr. Incredible calling for help - help me, help me!" The pleasure was too much for Syndrome - he couldn't resist. Twisting, winding electric currents felt like nothing anymore; Syndrome's voice was wrapping itself tightly around Mr. Incredible's wincing throat. "Alright who did you contact?" demanded Syndrome like an army sergeant barking orders to his soldiers. "Contact? What are you talking about?" panted Mr Incredible fearing for his family and

One main idea of this book was that with the right mindset anything is possible. This is proven in the book when Louie is in the concentration camp and has to hold up a large piece of wood while having the Japanese guards stare at him. This shows that he had the mindset that he could outlast the guards and that he could overcome any obstacles in life.

Sly and the Family Stone were an American soul, funk and rock band who were active from 1967 to 1983. They were one of the first American rock bands to have a multi-racial, multi gender line-up. There was a two year gap between the releases of their album Stand! and the release of There’s a Riot Goin’ On which was recorded in 1971. Stand! went on to sell over three million copies. It was a huge success and was one of the high points of the band’s career. Unlike their album Stand! , There’s a Riot Goin’ On is darker. It is an urban blues mixed with funk, filled with electric pianos, extensive overdubbing, slurred vocals and dark instrumentation.

...the story of the DeLacy’s, and from his own experiences the monster learned its evil ways.
In addition to the learnedness of the monster, he also appreciated the beauty and wonder of nature, yet did not comprehend how such a horrid creature as himself could be in the same world. “Madness may lurk where creativity lies,” (Adams). Robin Williams, a well-known comedian and actor, is an example supporting the preceding statement. Although not proven, Williams is alleged to be mentally ill with bipolar disorder and depression. His creative role in comedy and the acting world, which has largely impacted society, is often attributed to his rumored mental illness. Over time, psychologists have continually studied the possible link between creativity and mental illness, which could be explained by genetics. Robin Williams, among several other famous creatives, is a living testament to this link. He further proves this highly speculated connection through his creative improvisational style, his symptoms of bipolar disorder and depression, and his addiction to alcohol and drugs.
He intends to merge himself into society, but because of the way he looks, he feels abandoned and unwanted. These feelings lead him to seek revenge against Victor. His appearance should have nothing to do with his persona for instance, his height makes him ''scary'' and ''abnormal'' but he is still shorter than the tallest human ever recorded, Robert Waldow with the height of 8'11. The creature was not always a great person all the time, but what motivated him to such horrible things was Victor, Victor created him in such a monstrous way which allows every character to not view him as
Nelle Harper Lee has left her mark on today’s society by writing one of the most influential books, To Kill a Mockingbird. However, many have wondered what the purpose Harper Lee had in mind. There can be many reasons, the extent of racism in the 1930’s seems to be a perfect fit. Especially, for when this book was published, which was in the early 1960’s; during the time of the civil rights movement. Harper Lee, seems to show that she is trying to prove that black people aren't all that bad. She shows this through many characters like Calpurnia, Tom Robinson, and Mr. Dolphus Raymond.
