The Importance of Teachers in Human Resources
One of the most significant parts of the Human Resources is teachers.
They are essential resources in qualifying students at schools. So,
they have a direct relationship with the students. That is to say,
once a teacher is dissatisfied with his or her job, effects are likely
to appear on his or her students. Therefore, in order to enhance the
teaching system to end up with better qualified students, teachers’
dissatisfaction must be terminated. Last year, a group of teachers
demonstrated in front of the ministry of education building. They were
demanding higher salaries, benefits or bonuses. In my opinion, they
were showing that they were disagreeing with the pay system.
The problem is occurring with teachers who are given the
responsibility of educating the future pioneers. Being dissatisfied,
especially in this part of Human Resources, is actually dangerous and
expensive especially in the long term. Currently, teachers, in my
opinion, started omitting some parts of the purpose of teaching. Why
is that? Because they aren’t happy with their salaries. Is it
important to solve their problem? Absolutely yes, because the whole
country is relying on schools to educate children and adults. That is,
if teachers are dissatisfied with their job, the quality of teaching
is likely to be poor and, in turn, students will gain poor education.
Now, what are the areas that can be affected by poor education at
schools?
Generally, the whole country is likely to be affected by poor
education at schools. Specifically, teachers’ dissatisfaction ends up
with defects in the following areas:
· Students themselves: poor education will not serve the students in
their future. Actually, they are likely to be rejected to study in the
university and colleges. Since they aren’t taught sufficiently, they
are considered as defects on the society as well as the economy of
Oman.
· The society: being an unproductive member of the society can lead to
be a destructive member. Where people get their productivity?
Definitely, by learning sciences from good and honest teachers.
Students and teachers are both stuck, and in order to have a successful school system we must have happy teacher. To bring exciting lesson plans and less bored students, we need happy teachers, in order to have happy teachers the government needs to allow teachers to teach how they
Imagine a world where teachers didn’t exist. Nobody would learn how to do any of the skills educators teach us how to do now. That world isn’t too far away, unless educators get paid more for their work. Teachers should receive a higher salary. Teaching is a difficult job, education is important, and if we stay with the same we have now, we may have no teachers.
The number of students can reach to fifty or sixty students in one class, which is not healthy and deprives students to concentrate in their lectures. About the colleges some sections can reach to three thousand students, where is impossible that more than ten percent can understand and follow what the professor is teaching. If we will turn the topic to talk about the teachers, this will be the most miserable part. Gardner who said:” Teachers need to feel expert, and they need to embody expertise in the eyes of their students” (639). The Egyptian teacher get the lowest salary which it is not enough to cover his expenses. This is what makes him looking for an additional job beside his teaching position, or pushing his students to get a private tutoring after the school time for additional money. This kind of private tutoring converted the school to fake place where no student get learnt or teacher success to teach. This kind of illegal business is reducing the respect for the teacher and for sure for the education value too. If we are moving to the next education quality challenge, we will look for what teacher is teaching. The Egyptian government forced all
Teaching is a wildly contentious profession in America, one attacked and admired in equal measure. (Goldstein) Teachers are authority figures meant to educate students. To be educated means to remember an idea, having the ability to apply it, and to understand it. And because this exists, everything about the public schools; how they are staffed, funded, mainly how they are organized to do their work should be based within the best interests of the children. By examining history throughout teaching we can see the rise of teacher unions and the equality within the system.
A teacher that has had the most impact on me would have to be my current Human Services instructor Teresa. I’m sure there have been other teachers in my past that at the time were the most impactful. I think that’s what makes them impactful in the first place, because of the time of your life or what you were trying to find in a sense helped shaped you at that time, and that includes those people that helped along the way. Teresa has been the most impactful has of late, because she has helped me fall in love with my major and has me looking forward to my future job. The Human Service major was new at my campus, and the school had hired a couple of different instructors to teach the classes the first semester. I happened to be one of the lucky
There is no more critical role in our current society than that of a teacher’s. Teachers help shape the minds of the future. Tomorrow 's engineers, scientists, politicians, and educators are all greatly influenced by today 's Instructors. Without teachers society would not be anywhere near where it is now, and only a select few would have access to learning. Sadly however important teachers are in human civilization, they are still drastically understated, unrecognized and under paid. Although some people may argue that performance pay is good, performance/merit pay is bad because it will result in teachers doing much less personalizing of the curriculum, and spending that time doing only what things need to teach in order to keep their student’s
All in all, teachers need to be viewed as professionals and not as simply pay babysitters because most do care about the students. Teachers tolerate the low wages, long hours and repetitive disrespect because they desired to place attention on student success. Teachers should not enter that career for the money, but for the devotion they will place on the students. Luckily there are ways to make teachers more valuable in society. Teachers should be given the right equipment to teach the subject that corresponds to them, the two-year skill evaluation should be more precise and by surprise, so no one knows. Also, students should be allowed to evaluate the teachers to provide feedback. Also, teachers should be aware of the surrounding cultures. In conclusion, teachers should motivate students to reach levels they themselves never thought they could attain.

The quality of education exclusively depends upon well familiar and well pleased teachers. Teacher is considered to be the most important component of the educational pyramid in any teaching – learning situation. There is an communication between teacher and students and the interaction is mostly – initiated and proscribed by the trainer. Teaching is an interactive process between teachers and taught. The American commission on teacher education remarked, “The quality of nation depends upon the quality of its citizens. The quality of education depends upon the quality of their teachers. It is no beautification to express that the whole educational process revolved around the teacher. In the entire teaching-learning process the teacher is a powerful manager who can say over and over the independent ideas of nationhood in children, the future citizens of the nation. The teacher is a dynamic strength of the school. A school without a teacher is just like a body without the soul, a skeleton without flesh and blood, a shadow without substance. As social engineers, the teachers can socialize and civilize the young by their man-like qualities. The teacher’s task is related to our perception of education. The process of education keeps on changing according to the modern demands and needs of the
I believe that teaching is the most important job known to humanity. In fact, I do not believe it is a job, but rather, a debt payment to society. Education is important because it not only opens doors to a better life, but it also insures one a happier life. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It makes us capable of interpreting rightly the things perceived. Without education, we as a whole, would be further behind in the world and would not have as much technology as we do now. Education also equips us with all that is needed to make our dreams come true. It is because of education that we have the comfortable living style that we have today. For those who are troubled, education acts as an outlet to success. It is education that builds in every individual a confidence to make decisions, to face life, and to accept successes and failures. It instills a sense of pride about the knowledge one has and prepares him/her for life.
I believe that teaching is one of the most important careers that one can have, granted that there are many more jobs that come to mind that have more importance, but they all started with education. Without education society is left with nothing. Although, teaching isn’t just about giving the students the information, it is about building critical thinking, communication, showing their creative side and having them to embrace the information in order to achieve higher standards. I think that education is truly the foundation.
The HR policies followed by Google have proved to help the company flourish drastically over the years.
Education is more than just gathering knowledge and skills. For many children, the education system structures who they will become as individuals and how they shape society. This is an integral part of being an educator; a responsibility that should be taken seriously. For one to have such responsibility, I would agree that caring is an essential trait of a teacher.
In each every country, they have their own different styles of teaching methods. They also have their own curriculum to follow base on their cultural and their traditions. We all might have the different experience in our schooling life. In the some way we might also have the similarity. In those experience that I have is based on the country that I been grown up and where I spend most of my schooling life in, which is Myanmar (Burma). There are some positive and negative aspects that I like to point it out as a student to become a teacher. It’s also showing my cultural and believes about education and also about the role of a teacher. Economic and political is also interplay to the education methods and behaviours of the teachers in my country.
This paper explores four main questions. Those questions are why I want to become a teacher, what or who influence me, what I hope to accomplish as a teacher, and what will by my legacy in my classroom. The answers based upon these questions will vary depending what they are asking. I will explore each question in depth and make it unique to me. Personally, I have a connection with teaching because back at home I used to work at a child development center and had my own classroom of fourteen little three year- olds. Therefore, I want to become a teacher because I love being with kids and it would be a dream come true. I want to accomplish many things as a teacher, but mainly gain the trust from my students. Also, the person who influenced me to decide to become a teacher is my neighbor/best friend, and she made me realize that my legacy in my classroom would not just be to make sure the students learn, but to make my students feel loved.
