Led by their president, Charles de Gaulle, France did little to help the Allies resist the Axis Powers which they had provoked to wrath. France was mostly taken by Germany during WWII as they were one of the first targets of Germany. They had recently fought in WWI and as we shall see, were very eager for Germany to pay reparations for the war.

France is considered a beautifully romantic country that is a hotspot for tourists from all around the world. Its capital is Paris, also known as the City of Lights—home to the celebrated Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum. The currency is the European euro and the population is around 65,500,000. Along with that cultural presentation of the country, France is the 5th largest world power; it is also the head agricultural producer in the European Union. Along with all of this, France has a strong national identity that can be drawn from such political sectors as state, nation, government, elections, political culture, and current events.
France and America are both allies of one another, and both beautiful countries that most people want to visit and mark off their bucket list; from the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, National Parks, and French cuisine, no wonder people want to visit, when comparing France and America, it seems as only a few select things are all they have in common; the two don’t have much alike and are vastly different. France is more individualistic while America is more influenced and pressured by society. The two also differ in fashion, food, romance, and more, but this all leads to the intriguing and differing experience it has for its people.
Services are a large part of the composition of France’s gross domestic product. It accounts for 70.6% of the GDP and a whopping 71% of the work force (“CIA 2001”. 1). Tourism has a lot to do with the very large chunk services take up in France’s gross domestic product. People make their way to France for many different reasons. Some people come for the great food, wines, and pastries. Others come for the beautiful scenery of the French Riviera, Eiffel Tower, and fun festivals such as the gypsy festival which is known for its extravagant singing and dancing. Others come for art and entertainment which they can take in at any one of France’s many museums such as the Louvre. The Cannes Film Festival is another event that makes France an attractive destination for those who love the arts. The festival brings film stars together from all over the world to promote their new summer movies.

If one of the family members are senior citizen, they need to consider their healthy. Some of the senior citizen cannot take long journey, such as they have sickness.
