Unless you are enrolled in the military, you may not have realized that once you join the armed forces, you have given up some of your rights. Striking is a technique that is used by unsatisfied employee who fell like they deserve better for themselves and their employers refuse to listen to what they have to say. In America and some other countries, striking is recognized as a universal right for all citizens. But the only thing is that one of those revoked rights of the armed forces is having the right to protest. As going on strike is a fundamental right, everyone no matter in what occupation should have that right. (Bell and Mark 24) If employees feel that they are being mistreated or have to work in unbearable conditions and have been reporting it to employers, once nothing is being done they should have that right to go on strike. No contract should have the right to deny a persons’ right once it is documented as a fundamental right. In the case of the military, Military personnel should not have to abide to an unfair assessment and just go along with it. Military personnel also has the right to stand their ground. (Protesting 1) If the government fails to acknowledge the pleas of the military, a strike should be a necessity as military personnel have an essential role in government functions. Once a country realizes they become more vulnerable to becoming a target from an enemy country because their military is occupied by striking against its government, they may want to consider the requests of an unsatisfied military. Also, striking is usually the final resort of fighting when the government or employers will not listen. Striking helps well in safeguarding a worker’s interest. If the military feels that they are being mistreated or that they are unsatisfied and have been complaining to the government and as a result not getting any adjustments, they should have the right to go on strike to be heard vehemently. Politicians at the same time should not have control of the liberties of the military or anyone. (Essential 2) Being able to working is profoundly a right and not a privilege. As working being a right, this means that the right to strike should exist. This also means as a right, the employee should have the right to adjust his or her right in the way that suits them best. Because this contract signifies that this person can lose their position for going on strike that can result to a breakage in numbers. The more military personnel eradicated from their job, the smaller the military and the bigger foreign threats become. Because not only one person will go on strike but a large mass of personnel would. That mass eradication of personnel from their position weakens
