A resource is an important supply of physical material which provides value to the people. It may consist of oil, coal and minerals. It proves to be an ultimate source of wealth for many countries all around the world. Economic resources contribute to a productive activity and may constitute of land, labor, capital and entrepreneurship. Typically, there are two types of resources, Renewable and Non-renewable resources.

A resource which can be replaced or use repeatedly in order to prevent from resource exhaustion. Some of the common examples are wood, leather, water, wind, solar energy and paper.

It will also provide electricity to rural areas. It will also improve political relations between different countries by using advanced techniques of energy solutions.

The nonrenewable resources are important for energy production which is a cause of atmospheric pollution. The fossil fuels are called natural resources which have created carbon emissions in this planet. The management of nonrenewable resources is difficult due to weather restrictions. The burning of fossil fuels may contribute to global warming and greenhouse gases emissions. For example Sulphur dioxide cause acid rain and nitrogen oxide causes photochemical pollution.
