Napping, something many people are doing and should really start doing now. There are many reason why napping can be important and useful to you and your life. Sleep or napping is very important to people, and there are many ways people should start or start to improve their napping routine.

Why many people should start napping for different amounts of time, many people at different ages sleep in different hours, some too less or to much. When it comes to sleep too less or too much they should start changing that habit. Usually for newborns they need a lot of sleep so it’s recommended that they get at least 16 to 18 hours of sleep per day. If one is to really believe napping is only for small children they really should want to think again. Generally people, such a adults or teens, many think napping isn’t for the older people it’s for the children only, but reality they’re wrong. Napping is for all ages. There are many famous and well-known historical people who napped, like John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton they all frequently took naps to calm them down from all the pressure they had now leading them to create a marvelous nation. Winston Churchill also took naps and help his allies to victory during World War II, he to naps and slept for at least an hours every afternoon. He said naps could extend a person’s energy. Others like Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Leonardo Da Vinci all of them also took naps, they had peculiar sleeping patterns granting them to focus on their work in creative ways. If none of them had napped, maybe they wouldn’t have created things like the lightbulb or even the Mona Lisa! NASA researchers searched if astronauts should nap from time to time. They’d do better at things like work and will tend to avoid mistakes. Those nappers can even have improved long-term health, than those who don’t nap. The Harvard School of Public Health, in 2007 did a study, discovered those who took naps for 30 minutes every three weeks happened to be 37% fewer to likely die of a heart disease. Those who slept for fewer than 30 minutes for only two times a week were 12% less likely to die from heart disease. ( source 2 ). The most important thing people could do at night to improve their sleeping is to sleep earlier. Those nights where you can’t get enough sleep as much as you really want to, napping can help with that to get energy and increase your mental alertness. Taking shorter naps after studies may help you memorize the information as well. Taking naps as long a two or three hours would not be recommended, as a result of napping for longer hours is can make it difficult to sleep at night causing your sleeping pattern to dysfunction. It may also be quite hard to wake up after taking such a long nap. A recommended period of time to nap would we at least 24 minutes, according to David F. Dinges. Shorter naps work better than longer ones. ( source 3 )
