Should More Gun Control Laws Be Enacted?
Studies show that there are 88.8 guns per 100 people in the USA and that is 270 million guns owned by people in the USA. This study also showed that “22% of Americans own one or more guns.” The second amendment protects the rights to own a gun. Guns are used for more protection and then hunting. The Second Amendment was passed on December 15, 1791. Guns were very popular in the revolutionary time period. “In 1792 a federal law required that every man eligible for militia service own a gun and ammunition suitable for military service.” The government is still making gun laws to this day.
