You should have the feeling of being safe at school. No one should feel unsafe at school because school is where people enjoy time with friends and learn and study. The evidence is clear that greater gun laws are necessary.
To begin with, greater gun laws would reduce gun deaths. For instance, gun shops should have background checks. Most people own a firearm because they use it as a tool or for a sport.cks. Gun shops having background checks would reduce gun deaths by making sure buyers are old enough and are qualified to own a gun. Next, legally owned guns are frequently stolen and used by criminals. Gun control will be beneficial to our society because it will provide an opportunity to make our neighborhood and communities more safe. In addition, it will help in decreasing the crime rate, help in keeping guns out of the hands of people who are mentally unstable as well as criminals. It is unconstitutional to pass laws that infringe on the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
“A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” The right of all Americans to bear arms is a right the Founding Fathers held to equal importance as the Constitution itself. Gun control laws directly violate this right and therefore should not even be under consideration. Even if that issue is overlooked, gun control advocates state that in order to reduce firearm related violence, gun control laws must be implemented to remove the violence caused by firearms. Although this may seem reasonable, the consequences of such laws are ironically counterproductive; they exacerbate the problem instead of fixing it. Besides the fact that the American Constitution guarantees its citizens the right to bear arms, the idea of restricting gun ownership in order to reduce firearm-related violence would ultimately fail given the previous experiments of gun control in England and in numerous states.

Last year guns killed approximately 15,549 people in the United States in 2017. This shows how many deaths are simply caused due to guns. The number of deaths was tracked by an organization named Gun Violence Archive. They tracked the approximate number of deaths caused by guns and excluded suicides (Daniel Nass). This site had an article called Guns in Schools. This article was against guns being in schools. However, It had good reasons why schools should be guns-free such as “School shootings shock us because
