The Importance Of Donald Mirrors Hitler's Rise To Power

Hitler was a totalitarian leader in Germany during WW2 who rose to power due to his promises to make Germany a better country. Germany was at a weakened state, facing a Great Depression, excessive amount of respirations, and other problems had taken a toll on them and resulted in a loss of faith in their country. The lack of hope allowed Hitler to gain a political role in the country, because unlike other leaders at the time he had answers. Although they weren't the cause of the debt and pain that Germany faced, Hitler blamed the Jews. Hitler influenced Germans that Jews were the cause of all their countries problems and noted that with his power he would make sure that they were punished. He went on to later become one of the most vicious

leaders in history. Taking over multiple countries, killing millions of people, and even starting a world war.
President elect Donald Trump is often compared to Hitler. According to an article titled "5 Ways Donald Trump Perfectly Mirrors Hitler's Rise to Power," by Adam Brown "He used to keep a copy of Hitler's sequel to Mein Kampf by his bed." The book by Hitler contained many of his speeches, beliefs, and other things. It is believed that Donald Trump studied this book and is using it as a guide for his political changes and laws that he is making. Although this may seem obscured to think, when looked at closely the changes and reforms made by Trump so far do strongly resemble Hitler and his leadership.
One way Trump and Hitler favor was their methods in which gained them power.

Both Trump and Hitler won their countries over by convincing them that there was something wrong which needed to be fixed in order to better the country as a whole. Donald Trump has lead individuals to believe that the reason for the high unemployment rate and lack of resources available to them is due to immigrants in our country, mainly those of Hispanic and Mexican descent. Similarly, Hitler used a similar method of gaining power by blaming the problems that Germany faced on the Jews. Since World War one was the cause of the duty to pay back massive respirations, depressions, and other problems that Germany faced, the belief that the Jews caused Germany to lose the war was enough to influence the entire country that Jews were horrible, bad people. Both Hitler and Trump were able to place the problems of their country on a specific race which lead to their

leadership.
Another way that Donald Trump and Hitler favor as political leaders is through their immigration reforms. Not only did both leaders target a specific race, they also believed that the race that they looked down upon should be removed from the rest of society. Hitler’s way of removing the Jews from society was total elimination, also known as the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a massive genocide that beat, starved, and killed millions of Jews. According to Adolf Hitler’s Hatred of Jews Stemmed from First World War” by Allan Hall, “he developed the fanatic will to annihilate the "Jewish poison" – and thought that killing the Jews was the way to lead Germany to world domination.” Hitler’s method of effectively keeping out the Jewish was to get rid of them completely meanwhile, Trump plan to build a wall in order to keep them from being able to successfully sneak into the country without being caught. Although his plan doesn’t seem as nearly as harsh as Hitler’s they do resemble. According to "5 Ways Donald Trump Perfectly Mirrors Hitler's Rise To Power" by Adam Brown, “to pay for a wall to keep people from coming to this country looking for a better way to support their family, he's going to somehow take that money from millions of people who are here right now.”
Furthermore, another way Donald Trump and Hitler resemble is through their rehabilitation programs. A rehabilitation program is a program which offers to help individuals rather than punishing them or sending them to jail. At a rehabilitation program an individual learns lessons which eventually helps and aids them so that they are ready to return to their previous society. Hitler influenced Jews to believe that they would be going to rehabilitation camps and that by behaving well and doing as told they would eventually be returned back to their homes and families. However, that’s not exactly how things went. In reality instead of Rehabilitation Programs the Jews were sent to concentration camps where they worked, lived, and eventually, for most of them, died. Donald Trump has a similar approach to fixing the problems in America however; his approach does not seem as cruel and does not target one race specifically. Rather that Jews or Hispanics Donald Trump wants to send criminals to these Rehabilitation programs.
