In today 's world, we humans are expanding across the globe, allowing us to communicate with all different types of people. We need to be diverse in our thinking and communication. Let 's look at the word diversity, it has two meanings: the quality or state of having many different forms, types, idea, etc. Secondly, it is the state of having people of different races or different cultures. Now let 's look at communication, its meaning is: to make known or exchange of information or news. When you get off work and decided you want to cook Chinese food for dinner, so you swing by the Chinese food store only to find the store clerk doesn 't speak English. How will you explain what you need?
A racially diverse group is people from various backgrounds, values experiences, attitudes. In our communities, our neighbor on the right may be from Africa. Across the street, we may have a family from Pakistan. Our neighbor to the left may be Mexican, two doors down there could be an African-American family living there. So if we live in a diverse community then it only makes sense that we would need to be diverse not only in our thinking and our communications.

We need both of these to thrive as a human race. We are all human and even though we come from diverse backgrounds we can communicate with each other if we take the time and through patience we can make it happen. No one likes to be talked down too. Margret Mead quoted, " If we are to achieve a richer culture, rich in contrasting values, we must recognize the whole gamut of human potentialities, and so weave a less arbitrary social fabric, one in which each diverse gift will find a fitting place." and Paul J. Meyer quoted, "Communication the human connection is the key to personal and career success. Rene '
Aspects of diversity are in concordance with age, cognitive means, cultural factors, disability and other significant determinants. In partners develop at least two definitions of diversity as it is any mixture of items characterized by differences and similarities. Another one is its reference to differences between individuals or any attributes that may lead to the perceptions that another person is different from self. Diversity is truly confounding, as numerous different ethnic and cultural organizations have afforded to the social, monetary aspects and cultural standards of our society. It’s just a matter of considering the brighter side of this matter. It is due to these contributions of the diverse society, people will be even more connected in our general objectives, and united
Every individual in society and in a community is unique in their own ways, and their diversity shows up in many ways. Some of these ways include: religion, race, socioeconomic status, lifestyle, and so on. Everyone’s backgrounds are different, and this is what creates diversity in people. Even though everyone might not be the same, only by uniting everyone can we create the big picture. It’s like a puzzle—even though people are different, we can come together to create a big picture that couldn’t be created by puzzle pieces of the same shape. To me, diversity symbolizes the unique backgrounds that we come from. Every individual in their communities and in their society are influenced by their background—and this can come from various reasons. If someone comes from a different socioeconomic background, or lifestyle, their thought processes and their view of life might be much more different than mine. Their reaction to a certain situation can be much more different than mine, and it is important for me to see all these viewpoints in order to be a more informed member of my community. Everyone is diverse in their expression, style, and
The real definition of diversity includes different elements of the identity and culture of each person. Diversity involves cultural differences, such as origins, religious or political affiliation, race, and gender, and other more profound differences, such as experiences and personality. As Banks argues in her research, the real definition involves several elements of our identity (149). Therefore, the way in which we define and conceptualize diversity affects the way in which we interact with people of others culture, race, and affiliations.
Diversity has many definitions but only one true meaning. This concept Analysis is dedicated to exploring the broadened sense of diversity through active concepts with respect to term usage, and current literature research to support the understanding and relevance of the term itself.

In my opinion I believe Diversity means every individual should be treated and spoken to with respect they should not get discriminated due to their race or culture; everyone should be accepted regardless of who they are. This also means everyone should get the same medical care no individual should be treated differently because of their race
One of the best definitions for diversity I have come across says, “Diversity is the mosaic of people who bring a variety of backgrounds, styles, perspectives, values, and beliefs as assets to the groups and organizations with which they interact ” (Rasmussen, 1996, p. 274). This definition has three noteworthy points. First, it describes diversity as a mosaic, which is different form the traditional label of a melting pot. A mosaic enables people to retain their individuality while contributing collectively to the bigger picture. Second, this definition of diversity applies to and includes everyone; it does not rule out anyone. According to this definition, we are all diverse. Finally, this definition describes diversity as an asset, as something desirable and beneficial! When viewed from this perspective valuing diversity is openness, fun, and can even be a cause for celebrating in discovering how we can join together to create more as a united team than any one of us can on our own. It is vital to business survival that the workplaces strive to attain this ideal collaboration.
Traditionally, diversity refers to an assortment of races, ethnicities, genders, ages, disabilities and perhaps sexual orientations. A definition of diversity, however, should not be constrained by traditional categories such as these. Such a definition should also include categories such as religion, educational level, life experience, geographic location, socio-economic background, marital status and work experience. Indeed, each person employed by a company possesses unique qualities that encompass many factors.
Diversity is a notion, when applied to the majority of circumstances, can create a positive conclusion. The trick to producing a positive outcome is often how the different aspects are brought together. Consider a classic dinner combination peas and carrots, the two colors look appealing and the two flavors comes together as one making a superb side dish. Now consider oil and water, these two substance are not often considered a good combination. Although, this is not always the case; olive oil and vinegar (which is water based) when mixed, come together into a delectable salad dressing. Diversity and inclusion should also apply to humans by bringing people together who are different it can creates a whole that is enhanced by the uniqueness of each individual.
There are several definition of diversity depends on the context. In general, diversity concerns to personal or group's socio-demographic behaviour
The world is currently undergoing a cultural change, and we live in an increasingly diverse society. Teaching diversity in the classroom and focusing multicultural activities in the programs can help improve positive social behavior in children. There is no question that the education must be prepared to embrace the diversity and to teach an increasingly diverse population of young children.
Diversity is a value that shows respect for the differences and similarities of age, sex, culture, ethnicity, beliefs and much more. Having a diverse organization, helps notice the value in other people and also how to teach respect to people that might not know how. The world is filled with different cultures and people that might believe in different things as you, but that doesn’t mean you need to treat them any different. It is imperative for people to grasp diversity because it’ll help people how to engage with others in a respectful yet a hospitable way.

The world as a whole is becoming more diverse. There is diversity in schools and in the workplace. People should understand that diversity is what makes the world go around. If all people had the same characteristics then the world would be a very boring place. Even though all human beings are the same in some ways, we are still culturally different. Cultural diversity lets us appreciate our differences. Different cultural groups have varying beliefs, customs, values, and a wide variety of characteristics that make them special. Cultural influences make people see the world differently and cultural diversity should be appreciated.
