I am choosing Adam Silver, because I think that he is in a big spot with many people watching him. Since there are so many young basketball fans, it is important for Adam to lead by example, and he needs to show the kids right from wrong. In my opinion, young kids are very easily influenced to one side. Next, being commissioner of the NBA is very closely related to being the president of the United States. On a day to day basis, Adam needs to make decisions not for himself, but for the better of the league. For example, at the beginning of the NBA season, players sometimes go on strike. Being reared in the typical capitalist community in the United States, it is much easier for me to relate to the thoughts of Adam Smith. This is not to say that I do not agree with some of the precepts of pure Communism, but like the old adage says, "Communism looks good on paper, but in practice, it is completely ineffective." Historically, this form of government does not tend to succeed because of many factors.
