Acquiring a good friend in your entity can impact you in so many ways it's almost preposterous to envision. They are so critical and meaningful because they can support and comfort you. For example, they can assist you with homework, and always stand up for you. Surprisingly, they have the potential to help you become a better person. Furthermore, good friends will always be there for you no matter what. For instance, they can help cheer you up when depressing moments occur or help you get over certain things. They will help you face your problems and make yourself think more contented and positive. That friend should never hesitate to stand up for you. To emphasize, if you make an iniquitous decision in your life, that friend will not get …show more content…
They know all about you and are always there for you. You know that they will be there when you need them, and even when you don't. In return, you love them for who they are, flaws and all. That's how you determine you have a real, genuine friend. There are different types of friends for all different types of people. For example, some are valorous, and others meek. You never know who will become your friend. Regardless of religion, origin, nationality, or gender, these aspects shouldn't matter when you evaluate your friends. Try your best to love them for who they are, not who you want them to appear to be. Restrain yourself and don't try to change anybody because you want their appearance to be a certain way. Most of all, don't change who they are as a person. Everybody have their flaws, even you have flaws too. Having no friends can be hard. It can be distressing when you experience loneliness, and it can really impact you. It is prodigious how one person can have such a good or bad influence on you. They can be the light in your world and the person you look forward to seeing every single day. That's when you know you have real people for your …show more content…
We think everyone will adore us, but we eventually find out that they don't. Some people we will harmonize with, and others we won't. It's just the way life goes, and those who do like us usually end up as our friends. It's like the old saying goes; to have friends, be one. This does not mean you have to be the perfect friend, but you have to at least try. We all try to be kind and joyful though we do fail often. If you have people who understand this, then that's great. If they don't, then too bad. It was their loss anyways, and people didn't repeat that saying for nothing. In conclusion, what I really wanted to express is knowing that they will always be there is imperative. In fact, it's how you determine you have a worthy, reliable friend. They will always have your back and you will always have theirs; that is the importance of having a good friend. Friends are some of the best treasures you can ever receive. There are only a few out there who will stay true to you. These people shouldn't be lost. Try your best to have them stay, because you are going to need them. Only they will be there for you when things get
To me, being a good friend is staying by their side, even if they do something you do not like. Also, a good friend would back you up and do whatever they can get others to see you for who you really are, not just for that one bad thing you might have done. Though some may argue that in Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, George was being a good friend to Lennie by making his death as painless as possible, but it is proven that he in fact was not being a good friend to Lennie when George kills him because Lennie is his best friend and being all he has, George is going to now suffer that loss and Lennie did not kill her because he was trying to be mean it was just a bad accident.
From the bedtime stories parents read to their children when they are going to bed, to the books students ready in high school, or the books adults ready have one most common element friendship. The history in the American literature three were many books, essays and songs about great friendships some are still famous and some are lost, in the era where people become friends by following each other on Instagram or sending request on Facebook. Mostly all persons on earth have a best friend and people say that it is hard to fine because a best friend should be some on whom you can always count on and that a person always count on you too. Sometimes having right person as your friends can help you but at the same time if you are in companionship of a bad person it can hurt you too. Who is the bad person and who is the good person is totally up to the person’s personal choice?
A friendship is a bond shared with another person, typically of common interests. A friend is honest, loyal, faithful, and trustworthy. It's someone you can share secrets, memories, fears, and dreams with. They stand by you despite arguments or disputes that might arise. Friendships can bring joy, as well as pain; friends want the best for each other, and sometimes sacrifices must be made. In Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck speaks of the advantages and pitfalls to a friendship.
When making friends, you must choose the right ones by observing the person's qualities and how they behave. If the person behaves in a bad way, further away this person may lead you down the wrong path and get you into a lot of trouble. Incommensurate, If the person behaves in a good way, then they may be a good friend to have and lead you down the right path. Consequently, friendship is a very good thing to have with many positive and sadly, negative
Your friends help you through all the hard times, make you laugh and cheer you up when you are
The first aphorism which I would like to discuss is, "'Stay' is a very common word in a friend's vocabulary," by Bronson Allcott. This aphorism is one that I definitely agree with. You don't want friends who aren't going to be there for you at times when you need them the most. You want friends who stay with you and won't leave you alone, no matter what the circumstances are. Even if you and your friend get into a fight, you never want your friend to leave you forever, even if what they did to you was really wrong. They'll always be your friend no matter what and you and that person need to realize that and stick together.
Friendship is like a flower. It must work hard to spread its roots to obtain nutrients, build a strong stem to maintain balance, and develop a bud to fight against the elements. All of these steps are important and a flower cannot bloom until each phase is complete. Much like the phases of friendship. Understanding human imperfection while spreading roots within a relationship gives the opportunity to find the important nourishment. Fighting against the urge of human prejudice verses self-sustainment creates a balance only maintained by a strong stem. And being exposed to the struggles such as losing a friend helps the bud battle against the elements. Although there are many obstacles, and torments to overcome the beauty from a bloom of friendship
Some people may believe that a true friendship is an unobtainable goal because the friends have to see the other as honest, virtuous, and worthy. They will remain friends as long as the friends remain virtuous and worthy in each other’s eyes. Some people may believe that true friendships are rare because people who are virtuous and honest are rare. Talking about true friendship, Aristotle states, “Such friendships are of course rare, because such men are few. Moreover, they require time and intimacy” (Aristotle, cited in St. Peter’s List, 2016.
My friends are the only people that I can talk to without getting in trouble for saying something. They understand me and can sense any problem I might be going through. Also, anytime anyone is feeling down, they can make them feel better simply by being themselves. Furthermore, my friends are the weirdest people I know. Somehow, we end up debating over whether or not love lasts and other random topics. These random instances are what I look forward to each day when coming to school (other than English class, of course). My friends are one of the most important people in my life and I am glad that I found
We all need a loyal best friend to comfort us in the important moments. No matter who you are, there will always be a time when you need someone to be there for you. There are many times that people face adversity such as job loss, death of family, or even a break up. It is comforting to have someone who knows
There are many illustrations that show why a friend can be a great comforter. For example, if a student is going through a hard time at school, a friend can offer guidance, encouragement and support. A true friend is also someone who loves and respects us.
It’s important to choose the type of friend that will encourage you than the friend that discourages you. Proverbs 13:20 says, “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.” If you have must friends, you’ll have a bright future ahead of you. If you have down friends, your future might be “futureless”. If you have down friends, you won’t achieve something in your life, you won’t be able to reach your dreams because you are already becoming one of them and there will be a tendency that you might also be dragging some of your friends down. If you are friends will a failure, there is nothing wrong with that as long as you won’t be one of them. If they are convincing you to become one of them, stay away from them because they are not good for you. Your friends either break you, or make you. Must friends make you and down friends break you. Choose your friends wisely because your friends are a big factor that will affect your future. If you have friends that motivates, inspires, supports you in everything you do, lectures you whenever you did something wrong, keep them. Trust me, they are the ones that will be with you and stays by your side in this long journey called
If you decide to surround yourself with negative people who don’t have anything to look forward to in life, then you’re setting yourself up to be unsuccessful. Those negative people will try their hardest to bring you down with them. Growing up in school you had your friends in 1st grade, then in Jr. High, and then when you got to high school you might not even know or see your friends from 1st grade anymore. For the few people who’s had a friend from 1st grade till college I think that someone they need to hold on to because if they stuck with you through all of them year I know they’re there for the right reason and not just there for a season. As Elizabeth Dunphy says, “It’s the little things that matter, that add up in the end, with the priceless thrilling magic found only in a friend.”
A friend is someone difficult to find. A friend is someone you can always count on when times are tough. The dictionary's definition of a good friend is a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard. A good friend is there when you are struggling. For example, when a boy breaks your heart a good friend walks you through it and offers a shoulder to cry on. According to Bree Neff, a good friend is someone who is trustworthy, doesn't talk behind your back, listens to your problems, gives good advice and tries to lend humor along with his or her support. There are also bad friends, those who pretend to care and then turn around gossiping and starting drama. Good and bad friends are all around you, involved in your everyday life. To find good friends you should look for such traits as being kind, trustworthy, loyal and dependable.
A best friend does not back away from you when you think you’ve lost it. Those are the times that a best friend is always there for. A best friend is someone with whom you’ve shared your most intimate secrets with, and laughed the loudest. She probably knows you better than anyone you can think of, definitely better than your parents, and sometimes better than you know yourself. She has seen you at your worst, and helped you be your best. A best friend is not afraid to tell you the truth. A lot of research has been done looking into the benefits of friendship, and the research has found exactly what you might expect. It turns out that the better quality relationships you have; the more likely you are to be happy. Therefore it’s good for your
