Many of these sponsors will give them like bats, balls, or gloves to try out to see what they like the best and to represent the company. If they do not like the object they got from them they can send it back and get a new one they like to use. The players have to go by what they like best and how it feels to them when they play. If a player has a glove that they don’t like it’s not going to feel right when they go to catch the ball and they might drop it, causing them and the team they’re playing for money.
