In today’s age technology is constantly being upgraded and improved. Because of the constant upgrading it is not in the companies favor when it comes to being cost-effective. A company has to continuously train their employees each time a new program or software is introduced to the company. This requires money and time; two areas of the business that is extremely important. When employees are being trained in other areas, this takes away time from their regular job and can put the company behind on their schedule. Hacking is the term used to describe the process of breaking into and obtaining access to a computer system or network. It’s essentially the modern successor of the age-old breaking-and-entering. In this information age, information is power. Those who obtain a person’s personal information can use it to for various crimes including identity theft. Companies and corporations are not exempt from this either. Nowadays, many companies store their customer’s personal data in their databases (a massive collection of data, similar to a giant, virtual phonebook). As a result, they become targets of hackers who, if successful,
Information technology has advanced in multiple ways in society, where organizations has implement the structure into their work environment. Industries have outsource their manufacturing to other places in the world and rely on telecommunication to keep the marketing. These are just a couple of examples of how this advanced technology has reshape our society and continuing.
In conclusion, technology in the workplace is a very good tool. This can save time, improve profits, and communication. Like any tool it is useless unless one is skilled in the use of it. A truly progressive company would train a current employee to be proficient in its use instead if eliminating them. By doing this, the employer would gain not only a newly invigorated worker, but their loyalty as well. Companies large and small would benefit to analyze themselves periodically to see how the employee likes their job. Maybe then they will realize that employees make the company, not the reverse.
Can Technology Affect Ethics and Culture? In today's work environment, workers are expected to know more than ever before. With the growth of technology comes more knowledge that end-users must know, so it is important for workers not to be distracted by unethical practices. However, with technology also comes a more defined sense of communication, which can be good or bad.
Technology is unavoidable in our modern lifestyle. You wake up, you use technology; you use technology while cooking, while eating, while driving. While you’re lying in bed before you fall asleep, you use technology, technology wakes you up in the morning. Is all the technology around you good for you, or is it harmful to your health? Was our society healthier or safer before all the advancements? So many questions and concerns about all of the technology we crave, but there are very few people who know the answers. Technology affects all parts of human life. It can create jobs, motivate people to get active, and assist people in learning, but this does not balance out that there are dangers that follow the use of technology.

Since the invention of the cell phones, there has been a turning point in history because of its massive addition of technology. Without cell phones, there would be no such thing as using the internet on the go. The iPhone, Samsung, and Android phones are the most popular cellular devices today. A cell phone is a device with a handheld computer, simply offering Internet access, data storage and usage, e-mail, etc. They are useful for quick sources such as Goggle for looking up important information on the internet or using Google maps in the car to find your destination. This is one reason why cell phones are a significant asset to technology.

In the first place, computer technology can not only improved quality of working but also enhance student’s learning. In the modern society, computer technology becomes more popular in many companies. The reason is that it is able to improve working efficiency and quality. If every worker has abilities to operate and use computer technology, they can save more time to do another things.
