Introduction
What Impact, if any do men’s rights activism have on women in power and how does it affect the language used on women?
Whenever there a disparate system of power is equalized, one has to surrender the privileges and this upsets the men activists. In the real sense, empowering the women does not mean that men are subjugated. The ideas of masculinity translate to limited opportunities for men and boys and it broaches the subject rates of male incarceration and recidivism and how social-economic factors influence these factors. However, the concept of Men’s Rights Activism (MRA) is not to all about equality between the genders, but it’s all about maintaining power and privilege over women.
The men’s rights activism has impacted on the women especially those in power. This movement has also affected the language used on women. The MRA doesn’t focus their attention on the structural powers that reinforce rigid expressions of masculinity but they identify women as the source of imaginary subjugation and emasculation that has steadily stripped them of power since they formed the feminist movement.

The movement is composed of different groups and individuals who focus on numerous social issues such as domestic violence, reproduction, parenting and family law. It also agitates for government services ranging from education, social safety nets, health policies and compulsory military services of which men claim are discriminated against. Men's rights activism is viewed as a backlash of feminism. This movement contests what the feminist claims that men hold great power and advantage over the women.
