“Adolf Hitler considered himself singled out by fate to lead Germany to greatness.”(Lace 52). He believed strongly in his judgement and his ability to lead. His early life impacted the person we study today. Hitler was able to rise to power due to the citizens of Germany that were on his side and the strategy he had for gaining power. Hitler's early life also had a major impacts on his rise to power. Hitler's early life was full of hardships that impacted the leader that he grew up to be. For instance, When Hitler was thirteen years old, his cruel father passed away(Noakes). This means he was raised by his mother who adored and pampered him. He was also very pampered by his mother Klara. He loved her dearly and was very devastated about her lose to breast cancer in 1903. His father on the other hand was disliked and respected by his son. When his death occurred in 1907, Hitler wasn't nearly as disappointed in his death than as his mothers. Adolf had a total of 7 brothers and sisters.
