The global effects of Steve Jobs' contributions were immense. He showed the world a new way of innovating and technology. Jobs started a new era of technology with the creation of iTunes, iPods, iPhones, Macbooks, and iPads. He did not only focus on the hardware of the products but the appearance of them as well. That is what made Apple so unique and stand out from all of the other computers. He made sure his products were easy to use for anyone. Jobs was very tenacious and even when he was fired from Apple he continued making computers and it helped him get back to the top of Apple as CEO. One of his main focuses was computer but he also had a huge business in PIXAR that really started his career. With his computers came many new apps foreign to the world at first but soon everyone knew about it and how to use it. If I were the CEO of a company competing against Apple, I would have to be very creative to be even compared to Apple. One thing I would hope to improve on my products is cost. The economy is very bad right now and I think if the price was much lower but the same great devices business rate would increase enormously. Another thing I would upgrade to is better battery life of their merchandise. If someone had a very important business conference, they had been preparing for all day on their computer or tablet, and they have it ready but the battery dies from using it too much there would be serious consequences. The person could lose a job and ruin the meeting if their company was counting on them. The last thing I would do to put my company on top is expand the number of products and options. Apple has a very limited number of choices you can choose from and with my company I would broaden people's choice of p... ... middle of paper ... ...maginable. Segways are used across the world in many different nations for many diverse reasons. What I think will dramatically change in high school classrooms in 20 years is technology. I think at the rate tchnology is improving and innovating now in 20 years students won't be writing in notebooks anymore or carrying books from class to class. I think that in the next 20 years amazing, new technology is going to come along and change the school systems forever. I think every student will have a computer of some kind to take notes and their textbooks will all be electronic. The only thing a student would need at school would be a computer. I think tests will be administered online and technology will be so advance the teachers would make it impossible for students to cheat. Technology will create an immense change in the school systems and how students are taught.
Steve developed innovations and inventions in technology that were meant to benefit the people. He wanted to make technology accessible to everyone, so he made his tech smaller and cheaper. In addition to creating technology that helps us in more ways than one, is that he also donated large sums of his own money to charities. Jobs was a very private person and never mentioned philanthropic duties in the media (which lead to many criticising him) but did in fact donate $50 million to Stanford hospitals in California and funded HIV and AIDS research.
