According to Time 4 Writing, an attention grabber is a good approach to securing reader interest. Hooking the reader with an attention grabber such as a question, a surprise, or maybe a quotation creates a desire to read on to see what happens next (www.time4writing.com). Having an attention grabber helps the reader to get enthused even before actually reading the book. An attention grabber is not only at the beginning of a story, but it is at the end of the story as well. If the reader’s attention goes away midway through the book it means that the whole essence of catching their attention was deceiving. In all of her books, Stephenie manages to catch the readers’ attention and keeps them entertained with unpredictable twist and turns. For instance, Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series summary describes a story detailing the romance between a teenage human girl, Bella Swan and vampire Edward Cullen (famousauthors.org). Just by that abstract of the book, it draws a person in and interests their mind to read it. It is never easy creating an exceptional attention grabber that appeals to everyone, but it helps to get input from people in different age groups and combine their interest into one sentence. But cars started rushing by so quickly they had to stretch the advertising out so it would last. [...] There's dew on the grass in the morning. [...] And if you look [...] there's a man on the moon.' He [Montag] hadn't looked for a long time," (Bradbury 7). She makes people think and wonder.

This fetish has been manifested in the movies I view, the television shows I watch, and the books I read. When my obsession with reading is crossed with my obsession with monsters, the result is a bookshelf containing more vampire novels than most people would consider healthy. I have discovered that every vampire novel varies vastly; no two books are ever alike. For example, the Twilight Series, the Anita Blake Series and the Vampire Chronicles Series have different legends and lore, different relationships between vampires and society, and different genres, theme, and purpose; this array of novels displays most clearly the range of audience the vampire genre can cater. The Twilight series is a bestselling series written by Stephanie Meyer that has captivated millions of teenage girls.
His stories are filled with love, loss, life lessons, and situations that bring people together and/or tear them apart. He writes about love and tragedy as love is something that everyone has experienced at least once in their lifetime, and life does not always have a happy ending or go as planned. He writing style is inspiring, encouraging, supporting, and teaches, all while keeping it real. Nicholas Sparks states, “The one thing I’ve learned about writing is there is no correct way to do it.” He recommends the three hallmark habits of all great writers: read, research, and write.
Stephenie Meyer is a “hopeless romantic”, as most critics would say. She mostly writes romance stories, but has also written fantasy and science fiction. Her most famous novel would have to be Twilight no doubt. She has only written eight books in her lifetime so far, and over half of them are the Twilight series. Her books appeal to teenagers and young adults.
