Chemistry and technology are together and separate. Chemistry uses technology and technology uses chemistry. The history of chemistry and technology is long going back to the ancient times. Chemistry was used even by the oldest civilizations, like Egypt. It was really popular during the medieval times. Back then it was called Alchemy, which is turning metal into gold or even about the philosopher’s stone. As the years went by, Alchemy became a lost art and chemistry took it in place. Chemistry led to the making of technology. Without technology we would not have any of what we need. Example would be our cell phones, computers, and cars, anything that most people can’t live without. So as was pointed out, chemistry and technology are together and separate.
Chemistry forms the dispersible foundation of disciplines such as biology, medicine, and material sciences. Future studies show an accelerating change in the technology through history. What is chemistry? Wikipedia defines it as a branch of physical science and is the study of the composition, properties and change of matter. It has been said that chemistry is also called the central science because it builds bridges to the other natural sciences. The history of chemistry goes back into the ancient times, back as far as about 1000 B.C. Examples of chemistry would be taking metal from ore or pottery to glazes. The art of chemistry is the matter of changing things into another. What is the point of studying chemistry? Because we use all the time, especially when we are cooking. If you know how to use chemistry to your knowledge, then it can help you make everyday choices. There are many people who work in the field of chemistry. People from doctors to truck drivers. People often...

... the good food, the best medicine, etc. And as we move to the future, the technology will only get bigger and better. They predict smarter phones, faster computers, flying cars, and of course the technology gets thinner and smaller and lighter. Probably water proof and fire proof, even child proof. As our world grows, so will our technology and our chemistry.
So this paper was about chemistry and technology. Its history, its present, and a little peek into the future. I have said where the beginning of chemistry and how it has be through the years to where we are now. And we are only growing. We are only building on what we already know and learned. And we are only learning more and more about our chemistry and our world. This I have to say was not an easy topic to research but I think I got it down. The point is that the chemistry of the world is only growing.
Chemists are the specialists in chemistry, that interact with chemical properties, and reactions. The earth is made up of different gases. Some of this gases are needed for life in the planet but other gases can be harmful to the living. Gas’s use in regular quantities are favorable to the earth. The world started to become more advance and had to use more of this gases to produce everyday objects and inventions by men. Little did we knew this chemicals we going to affect us in our life. Chemist Jose Mario Molina actually discovered that chlorofluorocarbons were affecting the ozone layer.
I don't try to describe the future. I try to prevent it. (Ray Bradbury). He says this quote because in the book “The Veldt”, he describes technology as useful in the beginning of the short story. But later in the book, he wanted to get out of the house with his kids and his wife but the kids and his wife were whining about it so they stayed in the house and that is where George and Lydia died by tigers. Ray Bradbury wrote more than forty novels and was married to a woman named Marguerite McClure. “The Veldt” was a science fiction book that was based on the parents and two children that were spoiled and technology took over their lives when the children became more evil over time.
Technology as been around for a very long time and it is no surprise that the world is where they are today in technology progression. My expectations about technology and the future is that it will continue to progress and assist people across the world. Technology has become a thing that supports human life from helping with simple tasks to becoming a necessary device. As technology improves the dependence and need for it will increase but the inability to do so much more will decrease. I expect technology to help in ways unimaginable to humans but in reality technology in the future will attempt to assist humans leaving them to depend on it. Technology and the future will always go hand and hand because technology is something that the world is proud of and dependent on. So as time goes by people will always be working hard to improve and progress.

The Age of Discovery which began in the 15th century was one of the ground breaking time periods for European global exploration to Africa and India, and which lead to the ascending of European power. While there were many prominent explorers during this era such as Christopher Columbus and Ferdinand Magellan, Vasco da Gama is widely seen as one of the most successful explorers of this time period. He not only found the first all ocean route from Europe to India but he also solidified Portugal as a powerhouse in the Eastern spice trade with India. Through my discussion of Vasco da Gama’s early life and the exploration voyages he commanded, this will further support his significant role in Maritime history.
I have always been inspired by the workings of chemistry and mathematics. My studies of these subjects have developed my understanding and have made me pursue my interest in these two topics. I want to take up chemistry as it involves a large amount of mathematics which I value and understand to be challenging, yet very enjoyable, as there is always an alternative route to obtain the answer. Additionally, I am drawn to the course because it is a mixture of all these exacting subjects, forming a degree that is very demanding and stimulating. Chemists are constantly thinking of new ways to produce viable drugs containing different isomers to improve the pharmaceutical sector using mathematical equations. Chemistry is about innovation, applying information to new areas and how to do things better than they were before, the degree appeals to and fascinates me.
There are many ways to examine the subject of alchemy, including alchemy as a source of symbolism, psychology, and mysticism. It has also been an influence on the world view of various writers, artist, and musicians. The focus of this report is alchemy as a pre-chemistry, which gave a new impulse towards the preparation of medicinal remedies and also was a major influence on today's scientific investigations.Alchemy is an ancient art, practiced in the Middle Ages. The fundamental concept of alchemy stemmed from Aristotle's doctrine that all things tend to reach perfection.
Though many people fail to realize it, chemistry is a subject essential to everyday life, due to the fact that it is the branch of science that deals with the identification of the substances of which matter is composed. But what we must understand is that everything in the universe is composed of matter, hence chemistry is necessary in learning more about the world and universe that we live in. There are many careers and fields affiliated with chemistry that people pursue to learn more about the composition of the universe, but for now, let us examine the logistics of three of these careers. These three careers involving chemistry are geochemistry, environmental chemistry, and chemical engineering.
Throughout my school career I have always loved chemistry. In Chemistry there was always a sense that there was more, there was always something new and exciting to be discovered and theories to be proven (or even disproven). Chemistry was the main subject with a real practical aspect to it during school and it is this, along with my genuine fascination with the subject, which fuels my desire to study it further.
It has seen this with how “Technology is enabling researchers to make new discoveries that are changing our understanding of nutrition.” (Agrawal, AJ) Then again, with how technology changes “As awareness around these issues continue to grow, innovative entrepreneurs will identify solutions. Froozer is one company that is working to innovate food production and mitigate food waste.” (Agrawal, AJ) And the most popular is with how “Social media and smartphones have connected consumers to information about the harmful effects of certain ingredients, the source of products, and how things are made.” (Agrawal, AJ) Plus stuff we are working on now that will become huge in the future, such as “Lab-grown foods and smart tools for personalized healthy nutrition are already a reality and they will be further developing” (Belan, Kate). “As conscious food consumption grows, numerous food-related platforms, apps and tools will appear massively” (Belan, Kate). Bringing the upcoming of how “Bars and restaurants will use technology to provide customers with data-based fast services or immersive emotional experiences beyond the taste of food and drinks” (Belan, Kate). Plus, “The ‘Internet of Things’—app-connected smart devices—will find their places in the kitchen too.” (Belan, Kate) “Food 3D-printers and nanopackaging may revolutionize the way the dishes are cooked and how the
Science and Technology has been around from the beginning of time. It evolved from the everyday efforts of people trying to improve their way of life. Throughout history, humankind has developed and utilized tools, machines, and techniques without understanding how or why they worked or comprehending their physical or chemical composition. Before we go any further a definition has to be given for both Science and Technology because they are both different in their own right even though the two are almost indistinguishable. According to the Oxford Dictionary Technology can be defined as the knowledge or use of the mechanical arts and applied sciences, while Science can be defined as the branch of knowledge involving systematized observation and experiment. Science can be further divided into three separate categories; Pure, Applied and Natural Sciences. In addition technology is often defined as applied science, it is simply the application of scientific knowledge to achieve a specific human purpose, however, historical evidence suggests technology is a product of science.
Two important points need to made about such a broad definition of technology. First, although some writers address only computer and communications technology (e.g., Selfe 1999), technology is usually defined to include far more than instructional or communications technology (Custer 1999). Computers, e-mail, and Web TV are only one part of the array of devices and procedures we encounter in day-to-day life—everything from digitized kitchen appliances to transportation systems and integrated manufacturing. Second, science and technology, although closely related, are different (Sanders 1999). Science generates knowledge for its own sake, proposing and testing explanations. Technology, on the other hand, develops human-made solutions to real-world problems. Of course, science uses technology to generate knowledge and technology uses scientific knowledge to generate solutions, so the two are integrally connected; but they are different fields driven by different concepts and processes (Bybee 2000).
For centuries, many scientists and researchers have pondered on the idea of combining two or more substances together to create something new. These explorations have led to the idea of what kind of reactions would occur when diverse elements are combined. This is a concept known as chemistry, a part of science that corresponds with how matter is created from different properties and the process it goes through to create a new substance. Chemistry is a scientific concept that is used in everyday life and is a crucial part in the development of new technology and substances that allow today’s quality of life. The use of chemistry branches off into many different routes, including medical related fields, agriculture, and even in weapons of
Chemistry is the most fascinating science to me. Chemistry applies to all things in the universe; living or non-living. Everything is made of elements which are made up of atoms of a certain atomic number. Thereafter I took AP Chemistry, I knew I had to choose a career in the field of chemistry. I understand and enjoy learning about chemistry. Chemistry is important, interesting, and ever expanding. Therefore, I must pursue a career in Chemistry.
Science and technology both work together to improve the quality of human life. The inventions and discoveries of technology have given the human life many advantages and disadvantages.
