The story I read is from the series of books “ The Hardy Boys ”. The story’s name is “ The Mystery of the Spiral Bridge ” and it was written by Franklin W. Dixon.
I have been reading books about the Hardy Boys since I was in primary and I have been enjoying them all this time because I like adventures and because the main characters are boys like me. Some types of curious boys like adventures. In the series of the Hardy Boys there are over 80 different mystery books full of adventures one can enjoy reading.
It all started when they saw their father being transported to the hospital after landing with his private plane. Their father became mad after he was kidnapped and tortured by a gang of ex-convicts and then he was set free by a mysterious person. Searching for clues to their father’s kidnappers, Frank and Joe join a construction crew – a gang of ex-convicts who will stop at nothing to prevent them from learning the secret of the Spiral Bridge. They had had several attempts on their lives from different people in different places during their investigation. They became to know about mysterious people whom worked in the construction crew. They tried to kill them during a run by some of the workers as they ran for their lives through the tangled undergrowth. Three of the workers while running with revolvers were shouting “ Stop, or we’ll shoot ”.
For their fortune one of them had found a waterfall. Seconds later they burst through the thundering cascade. Sucking in lungfuls of air, the boys sank beneath the surface. How long could they hold out…? This all finishes in a sort of cave made by the kidnappers, in which they hid their father and tortured him.
The characters I enjoyed most were Joe and his brother Frank. They were very keen detectives who tried to do everything to find the mystery of their father’s kidnapping.

The plot of this movie is about the struggle between the farmers and the cowboys. The farmers all want to start up crops, but the cowboys want to run their cattle through the open space so they can feed. Obviously, the two sides don’t agree. The cowboys end up attempting to use strong-arm tactics to get their way. They even try to scare the farmers off the land by burning down one of the homes of the farmers. Eventually, Shane, a former gunfight, realizes what he must do. He rides into town and kills all of the cowboys, including Wilson, the hired gun.
Picture Manhattan in 1860, a time before the city had been dolled up and gotten ready for the silver screen, before the glamour and allure took over. Amsterdam Vallan (DiCaprio) is a young Irish man that migrates to the USA at a young age. Amsterdam’s story takes place in Five Points District of New York, a filthy and dangerous part of the city before it was deleted form history. As a young boy Vallan witnessed his father’s murder at the hand of William Cutting or Bill the Butcher (Day-Lewis) during one of their many gang wars. As Amsterdam’s story progresses along side The Butcher they become inseparable, but Amsterdam had ulterior motive. Ultimately, Amsterdam attempts to betray his new found ally in order to avenge his father’s death. Historical accounts of events are almost always synthesized by the storyteller; in the case Gangs of New York Martin Scorsese tells of Five Points, The Dead Rabbits Riots, and The Draft Riots, but is his fictional story accurate through history?

I enjoyed the novel The Scarlet Pimpernel. It was filled with adventure and I liked how both conflicts were resolved at the end. I chose this book because Mrs. Donius recommended it to me. She said she loved it and it was one of her favorites. I would recommend this book to a wide range of readers. Anyone from the age of thirteen and older could enjoy this novel.
The four main characters, Graham Hess, Uncle Merrill, Morgan, and Bo, have very few scenes where they are not together. The filmmaker wanted to illustrate how the relationship between Graham and Morgan has been torn apart by the death of Colleen, who was Graham’s wife. Furthermore, Morgan blames Graham for
In the last part , the story got twisted where they both exchange their thoughts to leave the gang and plan to go on lake with their chicks in one boat. They became friend. This change in both characters comes only before the “last spin”. It seems they don't have any personal problems with each-other it was an out come of what they were settled for their gangs..
...into Joe’s arms and to her death. Both characters yearned for peace and freedom but they could not escape the prisons of their pasts.
All of a sudden the three men got into a fight and then Injun Joe killed Dr. Robinson. Muff Potter was unconscious at that time, because he was knocked down. When Potter regained consciousness, Injun Joe told Potter that he killed Dr. Robinson. Potter was nervous from the time they got there, and he believed Injun Joe. Injun Joe told him that the best he can do right now, is to run away, and hide; and when he met someone, he should act normal. Then Injun Joe left the graveyard, too. Tom and Huckleberry saw it all, and were witnesses. But they were too scared that Injun Joe would come back for revenge if they told the people in the town what happened. The whole town went to the graveyard the next day, because Dr. Robinson was found dead there. Tom and Huckleberry went too. When they arrived there they also saw Muff Potter. Tom did not want to go to schoo...
