The Graveyard The body everywhere. One Sunday night this little girl died, her name is Angelina. She died from a car accident. In the car accident she was thirteen and sitting in the passenger's seat and the truck hit the car and t-boned it. The was trapped inside the car for four hours and they couldn't get her out. Angelina ended up dying in the car that day. Her mom was with Angelina, the mom's name is Laila. Her mom got out fine and was depressed for days. Angelina was her miracle baby and she loved her to death. Laila wanted to die before she would ever, and seeing her die was the worst possible thing in her life. Angelina's dad on the other hand was an alcoholic and his name is Taylor. He she got hit he was out partying . When Laila called Taylor, he was drunk and didn't care about her. The next morning he was looking for Angelina, and couldn't find her. Laila sees him walking around and asks " What are you looking for"
Taylor screams "Angelina, where is that little girl"
"She died last night I told you" Laila scarcely says "My little girl" He cries Two years

He looks around for Laila, he thinks she is at work. He decides that he wants to go and get food. Once he's in the car he remembers that Anisya the detective is coming to see Angelina. That night Anisya comes and scoped out the place while Taylor and Laila aren't there yet. She see this guy coming out the car and she get excited to meet the family. Then she realizes that it's not a family it a guy with an ax. She starts to scream her head off and get crazy. The man gets her and chops her up, right before she gets killed he says in a scary voice " I'm getting everyone who comes here." When Taylor get there he see two of every body part, he decides to call the police. When the police get there they are all confused and wonder who is doing all theses things to the instant people. The police decide that they want to call another

On the first week at Grandma’s, a man named Shotgun Cheatman died. Everyone in the town went to the funeral because he was the well known assistant to the Mayor. The funeral was held in Grandma’s house and a creepy thing happened that night when Tom the cat crawled inside the casket. The next day, Joey, Mary Alice and Grandma left the house and walked across fields of tall grass and “cow pies aplenty” to Salt Creek to go fishing. They found an old wooden boat and Grandma rowed the boat out into the creek. While on their fishing adventure, they encountered a cottonmouth snake that fell into the boat and a party of drunken men on land dancing in their underwear.
Macey gets involved with a Saturday group, where they go and paint a church in a bad part of the neighborhood. While they paint at the black church, an arson walks by smoking, and seeing the open cans of paint and turpentine, throws a match into the church. Setting it into blazes. The whole group, including, Macey, Austin, Venita, Lindsay, Grace, Chamique, and Davonn. They end up getting stuck because of a fire exit being blocked from the outside, because a few weeks before a 4 year old was stabbed by an intruder who got in this way. Macey’s hair caught fire while she was running out. Austin, put it out in time to save her face from burning with his shirt. Lindsay and Grace, Macey’s best friends, were very supportive when Macey’s hair all burned off and got her to a stylist to get it fixed.
Andy goes back to school and talks to his basketball coach about how he feels about Rob's death and how his fiends and family feel about the accident. A hit was put out on Taylor and Zavala by leaders of the Mexican drug cartel because they were becoming a nuisance. This hit was carried out by the same Latino gang members who had previously done a drive-by shooting of a rival gang. The officers were enticed towards their imminent deaths with a car chase which was set up by the Latino gang members. This chase led them towards an apartment complex which was rigged with many gang members and artillery to ensure that neither Taylor nor Zavala would survive. The two were ambushed but decided that gunning their way out was their best option. When the officers made it to an alley they were met by another Latino gang member who fired at Taylor and Zavala, hitting Taylor once in the chest before being shot and killed by Zavala. In the short story “Max” by Ron Carlson introduces the main character of the story Max, which is the pet of the Narrator and Cody, who are the owners of the dog. The intelligent , and strong nosed dog doesn’t seem like an well trained dog, but he knows his owner well enough to know how he feels about other people and their presence. Edgar Allen Poe's story, The Premature Burial, explores the narrator's concern of being buried alive. The theme is that you simply will overcome your fears as long as you do not target the dark and dreary things in life. Throughout the complete story, the talker is consumed by his fears. He has catalepsy, that could be a wellbeing within which the person cannot move or speak. This condition will last from hours to months. The African Burial Ground located in the Lower Manhattan section of New York City is a National Monument dedicated to the thousands of African slaves who were forcibly taken from their native homelands into a life of servitude by Europeans. These slaves were brought to New York before it became the great city that is now today and forced to work to build it into a stable colony without any compensation. Approximately 15,000 are estimated to be buried within the burial ground. The remains of men, women and children of all ages were found at the site and their remains provide further proof of the cruel and violent injustices slaves had to face at the hands of their slavers.
Dealing with the problem of learning difficulties in children's books, Theresa Breslin's excellent book “Whispers in the Graveyard (1994)” is chosen to represent children's dyslexia while “The Turbulent Term of Tyke Tiler (1977)” written by Gene Kemp is the other selection related to a late developer. He begins to think how he had just killed a man and how him and his friends had tried to attempt rapping a girl. As he is walking in the lake he touches a dead body and gets freaked out even more and began to yell. Then the girl hears him and scream there they are and began to throw rocks into the lake trying to hit the narrator. He then hears the voice of Bobby who bought him relief and sorrow at the same time. He felt relief because he discovers that the Bobby is not dead and sorrow because the Bobby was alive and wanted to kill him and his friends.
What makes a short story great? Great characters? A great plot? Whatever it is, it does not have as much time to develop as a novel does. However, in limited space, author Edgar Allan Poe creates a brilliant, suspenseful, and brain wracking story. "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" begins by comparing the analytical mind to the game of chess. Eventually, Poe ties in the occurrences of a bizarre incident with a flashback to 18--. Through analyzing the scene and using clues and witnesses' testimonies, a character of great analytical power solves a murder mystery that no one else can even remotely get a grasp on. The story may sound ordinary at first, but upon the completion of the novel, a doubtful reader can change his mind. Edgar Allan Poe's utilization of different literary and writing techniques and his unique development of the story allow readers to indulge in "The Murders in the Rue Morgue".
