In Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” a man overcome with greed for power and authority kills those who intended on getting in his way of becoming king. Throughout the play, Lady Macbeth is incredibly maniacal by plotting the death of the king. The story relates to the fable “The Two Wolves” because the fable tells about the fight within a person between the “good wolf” and the “evil wolf”. The wolf that wins is “The one you feed” (The Two Wolves) and that wolf’s characteristic is what a person exudes. In Macbeth, Lady Macbeth “feeds the evil wolf”. One way Lady Macbeth feeds the evil is when she says “... unsex me here, and fill me from the crown to the toe top-ful [sic] of direst cruelty” (1:5:42-44).
