Drug dealing in today's society has started to become a regular occurrence. The history of drug dealing has started in the past, the most two common people are the poor people and drug addicts. However, now we can find any type of person doing drug dealing. It has slowly increasing to become a problem that impacting the world; more and more people are buying, selling and using drugs. Rather concerning the fact that it is dangerous to do drug dealing, people sees it as an easier way to get more money. Dealing drugs can bring you many different risks depending on how addictive you are and what kind of drugs it is. This means that there will be several barriers to access, and anyone who looks like a potential buyer will be able to purchase drugs. There is an advantage of the open market for buyers and sellers. Buyers know where to go to find what they want, you can weigh the price and quality of drugs, and sellers are able to maximize customer access (Eck, 1995). However, the nature of the open market means that market participants are vulnerable to police enforcement, and risks of buying from stranger which may include rip-off and robbery. In addition, the transaction if the buyer is not satisfied, it may rarely be any remuneration as a participant in the illegal market. People from a closed market would only do business with the buyers they know, or to a person that can trust. “To what extent that a open market to turn into a closed one in order to provide a new way to access purchase threshold, will largely depend on the extent of being a threat to police” (Caulkins, 1996, p. 851). An open market that ends up being a closed one is often because of the intensive policing. Although closed markets may exist alongside open markets, they operate and run the business in a different way. Dealing with open air drug markets presents a considerable challenge for the police.
