So I was walking along with my scientist friends. Their names are John, Mike, and Conner thats me of course. We were walking to our new facility. In the facility we were working on a secret project called “Dino Rebirth”. Project “Dino Rebirth” was where we were taking DNA and dinosaur fossils to recreate the dinosaurs. In the lab we were working really hard on the serum that we would use to recreate the Triceratops. But something went terribly wrong. The power went out. The dinosaurs that were recreated were in a electric fenced area with high security. So when the power went out all of the dinosaurs were able to escape. The dinosaurs weren’t just regular dinosaurs they were much smarter than the old dinosaurs. So me, John, and Mike set out to go and find the dinosaurs. When we got out of the facility we heard some screaming. Then suddenly we heard a horrible shrieking sound it was the T- Rex. Me, John, and Mike remembered something there is a emergency power facility so we headed off to find it. Our main purpose of going there was to turn the power back on so we can get the dinosaurs back into the fenced area so no more would escape. The only way to activate the emergency power system me, John, and Mike had to scan our badges in order for the emergency system to turn on. So us 3 all needed to be there in order for it to work. We finally arrived at the power facility, but john was missing. We knew that we could’t turn on the emergency power without him. So we headed back to go find him. We searched for hours but there was still no sign of him. We finally found his body it was up in a tree it was all torn apart we knew what it had to be the T- Rex. We rushed over to the lab in the facility for safety. We were there for several ... ... middle of paper ... ...something weird happen. We heard a noise it sounded like someone was laughing. We looked around the area around us and saw nothing. Then John (Who was suppose to be dead) came out from behind a rock. Mike and I were shocked to see him. We thought he was dead. Me and Mike looked at each other and said what. John said that this was all fake. John pranked us he just wanted to see what we would do. We all started laughing. But then I said what about the dinosaurs? John said that they were all just robotic dinosaurs. The real ones were still in the fenced area. The power never really went off he just shut down the power in the area that we were in. It took me and Mike a while to get over the joke. But we eventually did. Me, Mike and John kept working in the facility. We helped create even more dinosaurs. We ended up having a good time working at the facility. The End
The movie that I will be doing for the ethical narrative analysis will be Jurassic Park. The movie is about an island made up of dinosaurs. The park's founder, John Hammond invites a paleontologist, Dr. Grant, his assistant, a lawyer, a theologist. Hammond invites Dr. Grant to the park for his endorsement, therefore the park can be opened up with the public. The group starts off being informed about the different animals which are present on the island. The lawyer at this time is the only person that thinks this place will be very popular and profitable. A tour begins on electric vehicles running on rails which will take them through the park and see the inhabitants. The purpose of the tour is to show how safe the island will be for people
Cannibalism is a long-standing taboo in our society; the thought of humans preying on other humans for a food source disgusts and astounds us. Though the practice is not common amongst modern day humans there is some evidence to suggest that ancient humans resorted to such measures, and a recent discovery in Madagascar attests to the possibility that some carnivorous dinosaurs fed on their own species (Perkins, 2003).

The idea of cloning dinosaurs and other prehistoric life became popularized by the 1992 film Jurassic Park (based on Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel). Though it may have sparked new interest into the field of paleontology, it did so with deceiving inaccuracies. However, the technical fallacies of the actual dinosaurs are somewhat forgivable as it added to the film’s dramatic appeal. Velociraptor, as depicted in the film, was about the size of a grown man. In reality, velociraptor came to about the kneecap. Furthermore, velociraptor would more likely have been covered in feathers rather than the lizard-like skin portrayed in the movie. One scene shows velociraptor fogging the window of a door. This is an endothermic or warm blooded trait as it implies the dromaeosaurid’s body temperature is above the temperature of his environment. There is also no evidence of dilophosaurus bearing a neck frill, and brachiosaurus did not have the ability to chew his food in a circular motion (iguanodon was the first dinosaur to develop this technique by acquiring back molars to allow for equine or bovine-like chewing). Fortunately, tyrannosaurus remained very close to his biological authenticity, with the only paleobiological errors stemming from a lack in computer animation such as rudimentary ball and joint programs. Jurassic Park is the story of how one man’s idea puts many lives in danger. With lots of experimentation, scientists who worked for him were able to extract blood from prehistoric mosquitoes and other biting insects caught in amber then examine it for foreign blood cells. After that, they would extract them. Doing that, they could obtain DNA of extinct animals; dinosaurs who have been extinct for millions of years. Through a long process, they could recreate dinosaurs. Jurassic Park is a book full of suspense and horrifying murders. I wouldn’t recommend this book to everyone, but just people who enjoy science fiction and suspense. I also recommend not read Dennis Nedry’s death multiple times because it’s gross and...just gross. But other than that, I would give this five dinosaurs out of five dinosaurs!
Ever since we were young we have been fascinated by the dinosaurs. We have played with dinosaurs as children, watched documentaries as adults with interest, and watching movies with enjoyment. No dinosaur from the past strikes more fear in the present day to the average person then that of Tyrannosaurus Rex. For decades children have played with dinosaurs and had T-Rex dominating other dinosaurs by chasing them down and destroying them. We have seen it time and time again in movies. In Jurassic Park we saw T-Rex terrorize humans, cars, and other dinosaurs. We have even dreamt about it, but if a recent study is correct we are false in our fears.
Jurassic park is a novel presented about a group of scientists who visited an island and they were able to gather leftovers of DNA from an insect that was well kept in amber. The fossil DNA was “cloned” into selected amphibian DNA, and presto, replicated fossils were rejuvenated out of destruction on the island. Jurassic Park was printed in 1990, amid the passion of the information period when apparently the entire world was rapidly concerned with mechanizing. Corporations and entities wanted to mechanize their lives and jobs, although occasionally on a considerably smaller scale than that of Hammond's Park. This happened just a decade before the foretold ‘Turn of the Millennium’ super-computermal function that had computer mechanics and Information Technology specialists across the sphere revitalizing for disaster.
As everyone settles down, Grant explains that the reason the dinosaurs were able to reproduce was because of the fact that they had frog DNA. Since certain species of frogs are able to change their gender, this meant that the dinosaurs were able to do this as well. Later, John Hammond is eventually killed by a group of small dinosaurs called compys, and Malcolm dies of his injuries. Eventually, a helicopter comes to rescue Grant, Sattler, and Gennaro with Muldoon and the kids already on board. As Grant looks back, he recalls seeing the island as a “diminishing bright spot”.

When imagining a dinosaur, do thoughts of a large Tyrannosaurus Rex, a swift Velociraptor, or a gliding Pterodactyl appear? Or are those thoughts composed of an image of a small Compsognathus? Do visions of the dinosaurs that we often saw in our childhood come to mind? The amiable brightly colored friends in cartoons or the fearsome bloodthirsty experiments in movies? Were those dinosaurs portrayed accurately? There are features such as size that was changed to appeal more to popular media and for creativity. The Dilophosaurus is a dinosaur that became popular in the the public due to Michael Crichton’s novel “Jurassic Park”. Dilophosaurus means “Two crested lizard”. It was named this because of the two crests on it’s head.The Dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park, both in the movie and book, has a false depiction of size, abilities that no one can prove, and features which are unlikely.
This recent discovery has left scientists with many questions to be answered. The discovery is quite important because any research up until now has failed to uncover any evidence that would reveal that dinosaurs fed among their own kind. Ray Rogers whom has been leading the ten-year excavation states in the article that there are at least 14 current day animals that still practice cannibalism such as lions, komodo dragons, crocodiles, hyenas, black bears and grasshopper mice, but in contrast, any evidence of cannibalism among dinosaurs is sparse.

When a paleontologist makes a discovery about Dinosaurs it is usually a celebrated event and will appear on all sorts of covers of magazines and even newspapers, with good reason. These discoveries are often quite exciting for a few reasons. The whole experience of finding a fossil that is hundreds of millions of years old is quite an adrenaline rush, but the fact that each discovery has the ability to answer questions in relation to evolution is quite amazing. Each finding of Dinosaur remains can help answer questions of how that certain species evolved from another. If our species can fully understand how Dinosaurs evolved, maybe in the future we can learn something about our evolution. Without discoveries from the past how is our society supposed to persevere and learn from mistakes that may lead to our own extinction, and who to learn better from than perhaps the dinosaurs that have gone through many stages of evolution and have faced extinction.
In the third instalment of Jurassic Park, was a real swing and miss when it came to knocking it out of the ball park. With no spectacular or miraculous happenings to make the film truly stand out. The only contending players worthy of keeping a look out for being the Velociraptor’s, who were the films saving grace and true MVP’s.
The remains of these dinosaurs were found on every continent except Antarctica thus proving that they were very widespread. Sauropods had the most long lived life span when compared to other animals. Their existence expanded up to 100 million years. This was a very long time, especially for such a large animal to maintain itself (Klein, 2011). The Tyrannosaurus Rex was a very smart and interesting dinosaur and it is unfortunate that we will never be able to see one. The extinction of dinosaurs was brought on by the Alvarez Theory. It is great to know what actually happened to them now, and also know how to prevent such an occurrence from happening again. If our country uses the technology it has available it will be possible to find out more about the mass extinction of the Crustaceous Period. As the years pass technology becomes more advanced and we will eventually know everything there is to know about what happened sixty five million years ago.
