John Proctor and I are both very similar because we are both very hardworking. John Proctor works very hard and endlessly on his farm. John works so much that he even plows on Sundays. During John’s time it was a sin to work on Sundays. I am hardworking because I get my homework done and I work hard during soccer. During school teachers give a lot of homework and it demands hours of one's day. To complete homework one must work very hard, like John Proctor did on his farm. I am also hardworking during soccer. In soccer I play center-back, which is part of the defense. I need to be aggressive when I go into tackles so I do not get hurt. I also have to be aggressive so I do not concede a goal. John Proctor shows aggression in the court while he is testifying against Abigail. In “The Crucible” John Proctor yells at Abigail Williams saying “How do you all upon Heaven, Whore! Whore!” He belts this out in the middle of court while trying to defend his wife in court. This is similar to me because we both get aggressive to defend something we find very important to us.
