Anyone that knows how to engage in sexual intercourse should know the consequences associated with being sexually active. Point. Blank. Period. Having unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy and possibly contracting a Sexually Transmitted Diseases. I’ve always told myself that I would not have one child, unless I am in a position to afford two children. Many people decide to have an abortion because they can’t afford a child or “isn’t ready” if you let them tell it. Abortion is murder when women begin to use it as a form of birth control. Some women have unprotected sex and adopt the theology of, “I’ll just abort it if I become pregnant”. At the very end of the day, no one likes abortion or death, but it’s wrong for a woman to carry a child that she doesn’t want. I would prefer for a child to not be here, if a child will grow up being neglected, abused and lacking affection. In some cases, abortion is certainly justified. If a child is conceived because of rape, then that’s understandable. What if God decided to take children away, in general? How would you feel then? Can you imagine a world with only adults and senior citizens? It’s an honor and privilege to have a child. It’s a beautiful process that creator gave every woman. There are many women who pray for the opportunity to become mothers, whereas many women throw it away. Personally, I see abortion as a silent murder. A fetus already has its own DNA that no other human being will ever have. That’s proof that the child is unique and has a purpose! My question is, “How can someone be heartless to kill their own child?” If someone doesn’t have children, they should not have sex. Period. A gift from exchanging sexual energy is pregnancy. Granting s... ... middle of paper ... ... So much goes on, on a day to day basis and it might be hard to be consistently thankful. There are some days when it takes more conscious effort than others to not allow the bad to outweigh the good, but it can be done! Daily, I’m grateful for the blessings that the creator has bestowed upon me. Believe in purpose and understand that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes it is best to not think, because overthinking can certainly lead to stress. You can think yourself into a headache, by sitting around and dwelling on the past. Where could that take you? Think about it. If it should have happened, it would have happened! We can’t change the past and it’s so important to get over it and move on with your life. Move up and away from the past, enjoy the now and look forward to tomorrow. Doing these things will help you live a life that is stress free!
There is no excuse to killing an innocent child and abortion is giving people an excuse. Before a child even has the chance to be born and live, their life is taken away because of the mothers decision. There are so many alternatives to abortion. When a woman doesn’t want to keep her baby or does’t have the ability to take care of it, abortion shouldn 't be the first option taken. There are many options out there to be taken like “Abortion alternative clinics [that] offer services such as adoption referrals, free pregnancy testing, crisis pregnancy counseling, post-abortion counseling, and homes for pregnant women” (Chittom & Newton, 2015). With that many options to choose from, why would a woman choose to take the abortion route? When the abortion is in consideration, many women admitted they were not fully educated on the topic. Chittom and Newton (2015) wrote: “these heart wrenching stories describe the violent reactions these women have had to seeing images similar to what they had done in the process of killing their own babies”. After the abortion process was over, many women were shocked and mortified at how the abortion was preformed. For many, only guilt and sorrow remain since the damage was already done. Flat out plain and simple, abortion is not the right route to take. It kills and innocent baby and puts the mother’s life at risk
I believe, that if you don’t think you are capable of giving your child a decent life, that they will be able to be successful in, you should consider your all options, maybe being a parent isn’t right for you. Every child deserves happiness and I hate seeing people treat their children poorly, abusing them, and neglecting them. If you do not want kids, you shouldn’t have them, no child should live feeling unwanted. I also stand by the fact that it is no one’s business unless you include them in the fact that you are having an abortion, I see few ways in how it may affect the rest of the world, if you decide not to have a child or not. All women reserve the right of privacy, and of course a choice. It isn't up to the government to tell women to give birth or not, and that’s why the law is the way it is. According to ("EsMBA." Five Major Pro Choice Abortion Arguments. N.p., n.d. Web. 25 Aug. 2016. )Most women were using a method of birth control that didn't work properly. By denying women abortions, who never intended to have children or become pregnant, forces them have children they don't want. Unwanted childbirth can have a severely negative impact on a person’s life, forcing them to raise another human, and take time away from that person’s necessities, and effecting every single day
Abstract: This essay written over the controversial issue of abortion, in order to shed some light on whether if it is a morally right decision for an individual to abort a child when there is no life threatening issue at any stage in a pregnancy. Thus, this essay is written in directly for the avocation against the killing of innocent and unborn child. First, this essay argues against the idea of a fetus being considered less than human are evaluated and criticized. The secondly, it presents strong support for why the life of a fetus moral rights has to be taking into consideration equally as a matured human .Thus, this essay focus on the reasoning behind the decision for abortion, then coming to the conclusion is that an abortion is only
For some, abortion is a touchy subject like politics and religion. In America, abortion has always been a controversial topic of discussion. The Supreme Court in the case Roe vs Wade case set the way of guidelines and the right for women to have an abortion if she chooses. In 2015 abortions is still an ongoing debate amongst religious groups, politicians and normal citizens. People that are for the rights of women to abort are often criticized and ridiculed for standing up for their personal beliefs. There are people who have conditioned their minds to think that women should not be allowed to have abortions if she was not raped or a result of incest, which I strongly disagree with that type of thinking. However, it is the law of the land, it is a women’s right to choose and she has to live with the psychological effects of her choice.
A lot of women can state that it 's their body they can do whatever to it, but aborting a child that can simply be put up to adoption and get a loving home with someone who actually had or has been trying to have a baby but can 't it not good at all. Some people just needs to get out of their selfish mind and think about others and the baby they carry. In the article The Bad Mother: Stigma, Abortion and Surrogacy, it states that having an abortion will make you a bad mother because not only are you a killing a baby you 're abandoning one as well, even being a surrogate makes you a bad mother, the Baby M case was a famous case, it 's against to abort a baby in the Bible,
Abortions are very selfish and a cruel way to end pregnancy. Abortions wouldn’t be needed if females would take responsibility and either use contraception or own up to their mistakes. Abortion is murder no matter how you look at it and murderers should be punished for their actions. Choose to be pro-life and stand up for the innocent babies that can’t.
Abortion has so many different view points on the topic, some positive some negative. Roe verse Wade played a huge part in the decision making process on abortion. Everyone has their own opinions about abortion but the opinion concerning when life begins had a significant effect on a person’s views concerning whether they are for or against abortion. The studies of long term effects from abortion on women are traumatic and devastating. They can include mental, physical, and emotional problems after an abortion.
In the article Abortion As a Blessing, Grace, or Gift-A Renewed Conversation about Reproductive Rights by Valerie Trico, the author discussed different arguments pro-life advocates say about abortion. The author cites “Abortion is immoral. God hates abortion”. According to Tarico, is more immoral and irresponsible to bring a child into the world under “bad circumstances” such rape, teen pregnancies and unwanted pregnancies, where possibilities of success in life would be limited. According to the author abortion is a “sacred gift or blessing” that enables women to choose when to bring a child into this world, which at the same time will help their children to “flourish”. Tarico says that Planned Parenthood is a very important step that could prevent as much as “half of abortions in the future”. Tarico concludes that babies have the “right to be truly loved and wanted” and that parents should bring them into this world “when they’re fully ready to welcome them with open arms. In my opinion the author is right in pointing out that unplanned
... abortion is a woman’s right in situations of rape and incest. However, these types of abortions make up less than 2% of all abortions occurring in the United States each year. Instead of carrying out abortions in these cases, one should examine the options of adoption or allowing the baby to be raised by a family member. In addition, my fundamental Christian beliefs stand firm to the fact that one must consider all options except abortion.
Abortion is a voluminous topic today all around the world. Differing viewpoints on abortion are recognized in politics, religion, and throughout the general population. There is a small amount of people who are nonchalant on the subject. Women have abortions for many different reasons and according to certain groups these reasons are either justified or not. Everyone tends to have their own articulated opinion, and many vocalize tenaciously what they believe. Pro-life individuals along with religion are sanguine that abortion is ethically and morally erroneous. Whereas those who are pro-choice say that abortion is inconsequential and the mother’s choice is more important than the fetus. Reasons to not get an abortion include risks involved in receiving an abortion. In some cases death can occur. However, there are other alternatives to abortion. For example, raising the child and adoption.
Abortion is a sensitive topic globally, culturally, and socially. There’s more than forty percent of women that end their pregnancy by abortion. In every nation of the world a woman makes the choice for an abortion. Abortion is a procedure that allows a woman to end the life from her pregnancy. There was a time when unsafe abortion was one of the many causes of maternal death. Unsafe abortion went down over the last two decades. When abortion became legal the tragic health issues for women reduced as well as death. There are thirty-six countries willing to allow a woman 's abortion if the female 's life is threatened. Those few countries make the exception depending on her situation of rape, incest, and fetal damage. Now abortion is known as a safe and legal way for a woman to end an unwanted pregnancy. In a woman’s first trimester
The issue of abortion is emotionally loaded and this often makes for poor, not thoroughly thought out arguments. The questions: "Is abortion immoral" and "Is abortion a murder" are often confused. The pregnancy (and the resulting foetus) are discussed in terms normally reserved to natural catastrophes (force majeure, in legal lingo). At times, the embryo is compared to cancer: after all, they are both growths, clusters of cells. The difference, of course, is that no one contracts cancer willingly (except, to some extent, smokers --but, then they gamble, not contract). When a woman engages in voluntary sex, does not use contraceptives and gets pregnant - one can say that she signed a contract with her foetus. A contract entails the demonstrated existence of a reasonably (and reasonable) free will. If the fulfilment of the obligations in a contract could be life-threatening - it is fair and safe to assume that no rational free will was involved. No reasonable person would sign or enter such a contract. Judith Jarvis Thomson argued convincingly ("A Defence of Abortion") that pregnancies that are the result of forced sex (rape being a special case) or which are life threatening should or could, morally, be terminated. Using the transactional language : the contract was not entered to willingly or reasonably and, therefore, is null and void. Any actions which are intended to terminate it and to annul its consequences should be legally and morally permissible.
Throughout history women have been known to reproduce for the men they have married, but some of the women have come to the thought that they should murder the child because the mothers believe they are not worthy enough to handle the child. These murders, women are committing, are called abortions. Since women were capable to have abortions, they have not cared about the after affects or the risks, but since it is now legal, women do not care about the harm they are committing. The women believe that they should give up on the chance of being a mother by killing the infant instead of giving the child life and letting a mother who cannot bear a child take the child and give a happier life.
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of a fetus or embryo from the uterus before viability (dictionary.com). Those who disagree with abortion think that this is not right, mid evil and a form of murder. All of those thoughts are correct; abortion is the act of removing a fetus from the protection of the mother’s uterus. However, is it not the duty of the mother to protect her unborn child? In this day in age, we are still allowing this barbaric method of ending a pregnancy to happen despite the many alternatives. If an unexpected pregnancy should occur, abortion should not the only option. There are many reasons why abortion should not be illegal in all parts of the world, and people need to know the options available. Adoption is certainly a strong option in a world wanting for children. Abortion is not a method of birth control and people need to be educated on pregnancy prevention and take on some responsibilities.
A person being pregnant and wishing they weren't is probably the worst feelings a woman can have. A women knowing that if they brought a child into the world and they didn't want it, or they would have to give it up for adoption is such a disheartening way to start off, and mother and the un-born child would be so much better off if they were to terminate the pregnancy and wait for a more appropriate time, or in the case of rape, put the past behind them and move on. Women should have the choice because not everyone knows what the situation was. In today’s society people have attached shame with the word abortion. When people hear of abortions they automatically assume it was the mothers fault and she didn’t use protection or may...
