Once upon a time there was a teacher and a classroom full of bright and ambitious
students. One day a bit of brand new technology was introduced into the classroom. This new technological tool was designed to enable teachers to save time and better instruct groups of students. Students would also be able to utilize this new tool for practicing math problems and spelling words. This new tool is also proven to be very easy to use to compose and edit information on it. In spite of all these wonderful qualities this new advanced technology can bring to the classroom, it was approached with much skepticism. In the early 1900’s, people were concerned and worried about the kinds of problems "the chalkboard" would bring to education! A century later, teacher across the country teachers and students are still successfully utilizing chalkboards in the classroom for teaching and learning. This little story is true and significantly compares to computers entering the education turf. I’m going to take this opportunity to expand on the positive contributions computers have and will make in the education field.
Computers are having a positive affect on education in many ways. Some of the optimism about computers in education is due to the fact that computers offer diverse collections of resources, variations of media type, increased communications, as well as provision of a records management tool for teachers.
The diversity of resources teachers and students have access to through the use of computers is phenomenal. Basically, software and the Internet are the methods used to obtain access to overwhelming amounts of data. The information may be in the form of written material, audio material, games, user-interaction, animation and many more. The Teacher Resource Center (TRC) in Indiana maintains an updated website of teacher resources at "www-ed.fnal.gov/programs/ed_mat_trc.html".
Software provides age-appropriate instructional design in the math and science disciplines, as well as in language arts and social studies. Many of these are interactive and/or re-create models of items ranging from complex graphs, historical events, to science experiment labs.
Reference libraries are also available on software. There are complete electronic encyclopedia software with color graphics and audio. Information can be printed out, which is convenient for students who are conducting research.
Another software area relating to the educational field is pre-school software. Pre-schoolers use computers for "coloring/painting", playing memory games and learning basic letters, numbers, shapes etc.
Technology may offer a variety of options for students who may struggle with written expression or have learning difficulties or disabilities. Programs can simplify website, such as netTrekker; encourage visual expressions of knowledge, such as PowerPoint or Google Slides. Students can add images, words, recorded audio and videos.
The building of mutual trust between police agencies and the communities they serve are critical to maintaining public safety and effective policing. In past as well as recent history controversial uses of force among other types of incidents have damaged the relationships between police and their communities. The United States is a vast land of various races, ethnicities and religious backgrounds in which law enforcement must navigate daily. Many communication barriers still interfere in the building of relationships between various cultural groups and the law enforcement that serves them. While each group brings its own stack of beliefs and backgrounds, it is still important for law enforcement to become familiar with those they may encounter

Technology is becoming more and more dominant in our society.Everyday upgrades are being made and new innovations are being discovered. Technology is all around us whether we want it to be or not: it is the vehicles we drive, it can be found in our homes, and can even be found in the grocery store.Every place we look there is some type of technology.I believe technology has had a major impact on our school systems and is still impacting it today.There are those who do not agree, though, that technology has impacted our schools.Eric Gormly writes, “In fact, many theorists point out the overall impact of technology on education has been quite small, manifesting little discernible change in the classroom.” [1]Yes, there are some schools that are not as advanced as others, but many of them do have a significant amount of technology in them.I find it fascinating that so much technology has been incorporated into our classrooms, but I believe that, even with all of the positive aspects that are associated with technology, there are some negative and even dangerous aspects that should be taken into account.I will be sharing some of the equipment that has been used in the schools, how both the students and the teachers use the equipment, and also the positive and negative effects that technology has had on our schools.
For the teacher, computer technology can lead to more efficient time management in record keeping and developing lessons plans as well as the ease of conducting any kind of research and communication without having to leave the classroom.

Technology affects every aspect of our lives. From romance to business, it has shown its presence everywhere. But technology has had a huge impact on education that cannot be denied, and has done nothing but improve the quality and quantity of education.
It is a constant truth that technology is growing rapidly and it is opening up many opportunities for students as well as teachers. The introduction of technology into education has revolutionized the teaching quality and learning outcome in the last ten years. The integration of technology into lectures by teachers in classroom has become so natural that both teachers and learners consider computers and their related applications for instruction are “a routine component of the classroom and educational processes in general” (Nuldén, 1999 cited in Buzzard et al., 2011, pp.131-139).
As time goes by, advances in technology will provide more and more avenues for learning by way of the computer. The Internet has opened the doors of the world and unleashed limitless possibilities in research and education. It may be only a matter of time when the classroom is brought online to all children and attending a school classroom outside the home is a thing of the past. Looking back over the last 20 years, I never would have imagined that computers would come this far and impact our lives so much. Just imagine where they will be 20 years from now.
Technology has many different effects on education, one of them being enhancing the students learning. Technology may enhance the students learning and may assist most students in achieving their academic standards. When technology and appropriate teaching methods are combined, technology may increase the academic achievement. Positive effects have been found in all major subject areas, from preschool to higher education, both regular and special needs students. Educational technology has been found to have a positive effect on a student’s attitude toward learning and on self-concepts. The introduction of technology into the learning environment has allowed the learning to be more student-centered, to encourage group learning, and helps to stimulate an increase in the student-teacher interaction. Technology has shown a shift from a focus on a student’s memorization to their problem solving. Through technology’s use, learning opportunities have become unrestricted by time or place, allowing lifelong learning. Student use of technology through communications can also help to enhance access to a career and continued education. Students are more likely to use a computer to get help because they can to it themselves. Technology is helping students to become independent.
